02:34 😂 No lie! I bought a pair of Nike crosstrainers because I thought they looked comfortable enough and got a decent price on them. Little did I know that I purchased what's known as the king of "dad shoes", the "Nike Men's Air Monarch IV"'s. When I saw the amount of hazing these shoes got, I didn't even take them out of the box when they got here.
I literally returned them and redeemed myself by getting a pair of "non-dad" shoes; Sidi Approach trainers. With just the right amount of appropriate badassery in an LK Black & Gold color scheme, I let out a sigh of relief when I pulled them out of the box. I had no idea about this whole dad-culture thingy going on. Phew! Dodged that bullet! LOL

I have been ridden for years on fixed gears in the traffic. Since December I switched to a kind of similar singlespeed. And I fucking love it, especially in corners!

Awesome ride and huge single-speed fan & rider here myself. Just custom build an ALL CITY Super Professional with seriously nice stuff on it all around, Chris King, Phil Wood, Hope, Thomson, etc. parts and handbuild wheels. Also a big fan of Thomson myself (All my bikes have some Thomson stuff on them), a great choice of parts. Keep up those amazing videos that I just recently came across.
Love the SS lopro! My gf and I built a SS out of an NJS bomber pro frame, and it made me a big fan of the single speed track bike. - oh, also, that wound up fork looks really good on the lopro. Slick ride.

Yup, that's sick. I'm commuting mostly on a fixed, could definitely handle some GD fenders, but I've got a smaller frame bag I've grown attached to keeping on there for the u-lock and other goodies. Makes absolutely total sense given the rides you do and being in NYC in winter!

Have always dig track bike ss converts especially your lo pro. Thing is the more gritty it looks, the more beautiful it is. My gangsta track looks horrendously pretty as well. Keep the vids coming T!

I once had a single speed/fixie on a bike and one day I flipped the wheel to the fixie side to try it out, yep I did a sprint and sat up at the end like on a road bike and forgot and stopped pedaling which almost sent me over the bars but luckily I had MTB clipped in shoes that unclipped to a whirlwind of pedal chaos to save me from a big crash hahahah that was one of the only times I rode it on the fixie side. Sweet bike you got there Terry looks rad, Aloha 🤙

My front flap almost reaches the ground, riding through snow-covered Moscow. And 50mm mtb tires, very stable and confident in the snow porridge.

I custom made my flap from a subaru rally mud flap...its 2mm off the ground...Toronto winters and I am clean as a whistle.
watering can with hot water is awesome for cleaning your rig outside with no hose.

Tbh I think SS makes sense for the hotline videos, kind of like how skaters will film with a cruiser board, keeps things stable and smooth. The bike is tight too, good shit Terry!
That frame bag is kinda dope though.I had two bike locks and its really really heavy.I usually carry it in my backpack or just simply try to slide it into the bottle holder but dang I want that bag now 😂

Nice ride. I somehow ended with two single speeds. One single speed is is cassette style and the another is flip flop freewheel/fixed. How much does the Affinity Lo Pro weights stock and with all the accessories? The affinitycycles website doesn't mention the stock weight.

Hey, do you leave the frame bag on the bike when you lock it up? I've been thinking about getting one of those, but not sure because of that. Really loved the bike.
You can lock the rear wheel from inside the rear triangle and it's just as protected as locking the wheel + the frame
that frame bag is so custom u might as well take the whole bike
I had a frame bag stolen when I locked up outside of a bank. You can always zip tie the bag on... but I probably won’t get another one. :(
