- This plane take off from inside was one of the first I decided to tape from the window seat. It was a Southwest from SNA Santa Ana John Wayne Airport on my way to San Antonio TX. It was a cloudy take-off and a beautiful flight. This was the first 10 minutes of the flight

A little about my channel... I love mechanics of machines. This includes tractors, trains, planes, pumpjacks, legos, capsula... you name it. I think it is interesting how these objects works so I dedicated a channel and an instagram to it (@tractorstrainsplanes). If you like it please share. If anyone else is here due to crippling anxiety about flying, you're not alone. I have flown hundreds of times over the last 17 years with no issues. However over the last 3 have developed a completely irrational fear of it. It will get easier. Just remember that you're literally flying on the blanket of our planet
that last sentence was very wholesome. im kinda the same in the way that i have an irrational fear of flying. or rather, take off.. i JUST recently (2 years ago) found out i get a panic attack during take off. first time i flew i had no issues, but ever since my trip to bristol in 2019 i have been extremely scared to get on a plane. which sucks because i love flying once the plane levels out, it's just the take off that's making me feel terrible. i am soon flying again though, this time to sweden, on the 5th of july. im scared i'll get a panic attack again, but im also hopeful its gonna go better than the last time :)

It's got something to do with zero control for me, and heights. It's always compared to car crashes but those are instant. I also have diagnosed severe anxiety/panic disorder it sucks and I hate it. Everyone I've met and tried to talk to about it lacks empathy. Sometimes when I drive through the mountains of Vermont, or even over bridges I panic and I've been met with nothing but irritation or being yelled at. I've always wondered if it comes from something in our minds especially bridges and flying, where it panics because it's not really a natural thing for humans to be doing.
So yeah, thanks for the nice words, I'm going to ask a doctor for something strong to take if fly again. Last time I did I was a kid on a twa flight and had a panic attack.

If you’re scared of flying if it’s your first, or your 10th flight, if there is ever an emergency that the plane needs to land, pilots are professionally trained to land in unknown circumstances. Issues and failures on a plane are so slim, that you probably won’t experience more than 1 or 2 in your life. Most of your pilots have hours of flight that you would be safer with them than with you’re parents or friends. Also if you’re scared of flight collisions, the air traffic control people are so amazing and talented, and professionally trained, and have a system with every flight, that’s why planes fly at different altitude, and with taking off and landing, they integrate with one take off, then one landing. Please don’t be scared of flying, it’s sooo much fun and it’s so relaxing. My personal favorite parts of flying are take off, turbulence, and landing! Flying is so safe, and so much quicker than being stuck in a car for hours on end.

I absolutely love airplanes. They are the safest mode of travel and the takeoff is so fun! I’ve been on a total of 32 airplanes in my lifetime and I’m only 13!

I am 19, and I also love flying. I love when you’re taking off, and the plane is driving kinda slow at first, then you get on the runway, and then the plane starts going really fast, and then you’re up in the air. It’s one of the best feelings ever. Flying is so much fun. The only thing I don’t like about flying though is when you hit turbulence.

I want to believe that, but I just can't--or I refuse to, not sure. It's just the fear of the plane stalling, shutting down, or ripping apart that terrorizes me. At least with a car you can hit the break in an attempt to salvage your life. Can't say the same about planes...Sorry. I'm flying in another two weeks for the first time and I really am scared beyond my mind.

LOL I feel like 50% of the viewers are people scared of planes, the other 50% love plane takeoffs. I'm in the latter camp.
Flying is the saftest form of travel. I started flying at a young age with my dad who was a private pilot. In my adult years I was a weekly flyer for work. I used to have premonitions and even dreams of my plane crashing. Nothing ever happened other than severe turbulence or a rare divert to a different airport due to weather. Negative feelings of when flying are common for new flyers.
I remember my first time on a plane a year ago and once it got all the way up in the clouds I remember saying to myself "Oh wow, we're really all the way up here." I was praying to god nothing went wrong... Overall I handled it pretty well. I felt slight mild nausea but nothing too serious but I did keep a paperbag close by...… take off and landing were the scariest for me because I wasn't used to that.

I've only flown twice in my life and that was nearly 15 years ago from Chicago to California and back. I'm thinking about doing again this summer when i go visit my family in Virginia. I'm a little nervous but i did it before so i could do it again.
I'm going to Spain in like 2 months and I miss going on plane and I feel like I've forgotten what it's like so I just wanted to re-live the feeling by watching these videos and getting ready for when I leave

First time I flew, it was my daughter (then 2) and just myself! Talk about a test of patience haha. The flight back however was off at 6am. The sunrise above the clouds that morning was INCREDIBLE ❤ Something you wouldn't see obviously unless you are above the clouds. It was so beautiful

When I was flying (with Southwest) from Nashville International Airport to McCarran International Airport (in Las Vegas on my way to Reno, Nevada), I knew that we were getting close because all of a sudden, it felt like the plane was about to drop out of the sky due to a turbulence while flying over the mountains 😂
Watching this to help my crippling anxiety of flying. Went through a bad storm a few years back in a plane and it messed me up. Something about heights and not being in control as well. Trying to watch this to prepare my mind. Everytime the plane turns at 37,000 feet the g’s/mental aspect messes with me.

@@TheTonito182 I know everyone says this, but the chances of an airplane crashing are very very small. I actually had a great time flying, although I was a little nervous. I recommend taking some Dramamine to relax and distracting yourself. Are you flying alone or with someone?

I see a lot of people are here for fear of flying. I’m watching because I’m truly fascinated by planes. So here’s some facts. 90+% of plane crashes have no deaths and minor injury whatsoever. It’s more likely to get in a car crash than a plane crash. My dad’s a pilot, he’s flown planes where one of the engines routinely fail (c5) so pilots know how to handle it and engine is down and will keep you safe. The chances of anything bad happening are INCREDIBLY low, and thousands of flights happen daily, rarely crash. Hope you have a nice flight! Hope you can feel the excitement I feel at takeoff and touchdown

I'll be flying round trip from U.S. to Philippines. I have been terrified of flying my whole life. What can you bring with you to keep you occupied?
Some planes have a built-in movie player where you can watch movies. Check your airlines and see if it comes with those - I've discovered many of my favourite films on planes! There may be a game console as well. If your plane doesn't come with those though you probably have to go old school and bring a book or a puzzle book. Some planes allow you to use your laptop as long as it is in "flight mode" but again you'll need to check if your airlines allows this.
And don't be worried about flying :) stay away from the windows and most of the time you won't even realise you're in the air!

I used to love being in planes. But after 9/11 and other planes disasters, I became afraid. I have a hard time being on roller coaster rides. It took me decades just to go on mild rides if you know my meaning. But I'm still afraid of being on a plane.

Same, and I’ve flown so many times I can’t count. Take off is the absolute worst. Someone told me to put something really sour in your mouth- sour patch kids or sour skittles, it will make your brain focus on this rather than the other symptoms.

I flew for the first time this week. In a matter of 4 days I had to take 4 planes. Each time was worse and worse for me. I have the most horrific and gut wrenching anxiety I have ever felt and I honestly never want to fly again :( I nearly cried when the final plane I had to take landed because I felt the most relief I've ever experienced.

Listen trust me if I am saying everything will be alright trust me cause I am the most scariest person and like to take many precautions and I’ve flown 4 times. And I have claustrophobia problems and anxiety. But truth be told, I love flying, my first experience I didn’t know wth to expect but I panicked during ascending (takeoff) because you get that elevator feeing effect. But in all as I kept flying I got use to it. I wear seabands and always sit on the wing and on the window. Being in the sky for me is like being in heaven because Of the beautiful clouds you see above. So if this is your first time try chewing gum as well to prevent ear plugging, purchase wifi (to keep yourself distracted) or simply stare out the window. Its amazing to say that I love flying because the forst time i flew i told myself i would never fly again 😂😭. But good luck guys i hoped this helped.

Erica Claman I’m scared asf in plane like when i was a child i wasnt scared but like showing films about plane falling on the ground makes me just damn scared
i’m scared of basically everything. and i was terrified when i knew i would have to get on a plane. i get motion sickness, and i’m afraid of heights. plus i get anxiety if i know i can’t stop something that’s happening. so i was super scared to go on a plane. i took a pill called bonine motion sickness and realized after years of being scared of planes that it is the most fun and beautiful thing i’ve done in a long time. people who compare it to roller coasters are completely wrong. there are moments when you look out and the plane is tilted so the ground is at an angle, but that just gives you a better view of the ground. and there are a few moments where it feels like when a car is going over one of those hills and catches your stomach, but just barely. and those are pretty fun anyways. the flight actually ended up being the most fun part of my trip and i can’t wait to go somewhere again. hope this helped something

id give anything to overcome my fear of flying. man i could go to so many places around the world. this video makes it looks smooth and easy. but still theres something about being 80 miles up in the sky and nothing holding you up. wonder if there are any flight simulators anywhere.
Actually air is pushing up on the plane on its wings. So unless for some reasons we lost all the air in the world it’s impossible for the plane to just fall down. Even with no engines the plane would just glide down to the ground
