King has never been weak, but in Tekken 8, he is an absolute menace, making good use of the new mechanics and power crush changes. There are plenty other reasons to pick him up, however, from the cool throws inspired by professional wrestling, to his flashy style. Few people know this character better than Jesandy though, so if you want to get your King knowledge to the next level, strap in and enjoy. As far as I'm aware I've never had trouble on King vs defensive opponents...its always the harsh offense opponents that tend to be the problem...so I'm looking into this...as even though I have King as a secondary and Reina my primary...King is knowledge checking me hard because if you don't know both the grabs and the overall gameplan...since he's not super fast...you get punished...hard.
See I always thrive on King....if the opponent stands still and blocks but as we both know...that's not gonna happen much in Tekken 8 as the game heavily rewards aggression.
