Great job. I don't know if you, or anyone else, noticed but when the rest of the band joins back in, Berry jumps the gun and starts a beat too soon. Yes, listen to it and you will hear he comes in too soon. But the rest of the band just went on and everyone was back in time.
Yes indeed. Whenever i play dickey's part i always struggle with the rhythm in that part. Its amazing how he and the rest of the band recovered so easily from a mistake like that
@@syd3610 Here's another one you may or may not be aware of. On the "At Fillmore East" Album, When Duane finishes his slide solo on Statesboro Blues, he hits a really bad note. I never noticed it until I heard an interview with Gregg a long time ago. Gregg called it a not from hell. They were trying to figure out a way to edit that note out but in 1971, the technology didn't exist. But they loved that version so much they decided to just leave that bad note in. Are you aware of that mistake?
I've never really listened to that version of statesboro more than twice since i preferred the other version. Actually i still cant grab out the bad note after the solo as you say. May i know which interview is it you watched of Gregg? I'd like to check it out too
@@syd3610 I don't know if that interview is still around. It has been soo many years and it was before CZcams existed. But, if you listen to the original version from AT Fillmore East, it isn't the intro slide part, it is the slide solo after Gregg sings. Duane actually finishes the solo just fine but it seems like he accidentally hit a string with the slide when moving it off the strings. So, give it a listen and pay careful attention to the very end of his solo.
That is fantastic!
Great!
完璧👌
Awesome ❤
めっちゃいい!
これからも楽しみにしています!
Nice. I suck at slide. Very smooth!

I see. I'll listen to it a couple more times then hah.
Wow, perfect!!!🎉 Is it in standard tuning?
Thank you, it's played in open E tuning. Majority of Duane's slide tunes are played in open E
@@syd3610 I know that but some of them he played in standard also that is why I ask. Keep rockin and thanks for reply.🍻
