- Calls are mounting on Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe to accept mediation efforts aimed at a smooth and bloodless transition in the Southern African nation. Former Zimbabwe People's Revolutionary Army intelligence head and ZAPU leader, Dumiso Dabengwa has urged the 93 old leader to accept an exit plan. But Mugabe is digging his heels, insisting he is the only legitimate leader in Zimbabwe.
