Great video thanks, just a quick question, i have added an overlay with green screen. Made the overlay image smaller and then clicked Chromakey. in the preview all looks good but when i export it just show a black square where the overlay is. What am i doing wrong?
Interesting, I'll look into it. But keep experimenting and hopefully, we can figure it out.
@@fawnmyra Hi Fawn in the end I rendered in individual images (in Daz3d) in PNG format and then used a compiler to convert to .mov. this solved the problem, so i can only assume it was a codec issue.

How do you get rid of pixel noise in objects that are a different shade of green.
Hey there! So, when using Movavi's chroma key tool, first make sure you've got the right shade of the background with the dropper. If it's affecting colors it shouldn't, try turning down the tolerance a bit. If you're seeing graininess, tweak the noise setting. Use the "Edges" slider to get the edges of your subject just right, making them softer or sharper as needed. Good lighting on your green screen will make a world of difference too. And if your video's a bit on the low-quality side, using higher-quality footage might help. If all else fails, play around with some color correction after you've keyed out the background. I have a question. ?how come Movavi doesn't work well with black backgrounds. I know with black in other programs I can just say change the blending mode to screen. But in Movavi it just doesn't do anything. Is there a way to use chroma key in black in Movavi?
I've tried it, but since black has no chroma value, it didn't do anything. I think other more advanced editors have something called "lumakey" for this.
I've had my best results with blue and green backgrounds.
