Idea: A bunch of randomly activating shriekers behind the rift, spread out in groups that vary in number so that screams of various volumes randomly come out of the rift.
and for people worried about spawning the warden, remember when you break shriekers with silk touch, they wont summon wardens (this was made in order to prevent warden farms im pretty sure)
The warden’s love for the piston just confirms my suspicion: the warden just wants to be a Redstoner. He creates whole new Redstone blocks (skulk-sensors) to try and impress all the cool Redstoners but unfortunately has an explodey-wodey boomy-zoomy chest-eroonie.
Tips for sculks: If there are more sculk shriekers than sensors, put out the sensor first. If there are more sculk sensors than shriekers, put out the shrieker first.
You probably already have a thousand comments saying this but: you just need exp bottles on a Sculk catalyst and you can extend Sculk around the roof of the cave without going to the deep dark. Alternatively you can put a sculk catalyst on a killing platform on one of the easiest mob farms: zombies. And with that you can just place dirt and make it into sculk infinitely.

I just had an idea. What if you go to a seemingly "unexplored" Deep Dark. Go through to ALL of the Shriekers, pick them up, then put them back down where you picked them up at, and tell hermits that you found an unexplored Deep Dark, and that you wanna explore it with them and watch the horror when you go out and actively try to activate the shriekers but nothing happens.
I really hope Mumbo is okay. This is the second break he's taking this year. I'm not suggesting he should work more, he can take as many breaks as he likes but I just hope youtube is not wearing him down
I don't really use Twitter, but I've checked up occasionally, and I think he's been doing more cycling, film projects, and charity work; taking a break but also working on other passions. Let's appreciate the fact that the Rift looks like outside of Midnight Alley. The way Grian tried to merge Base Of Mount Scar with Mount Mumbo and Pearl was absolutely *chef's kiss* in season 8. Surprised not many people recognise that reference.
Listen to music discs 5, 11, and 13 played at the same time. It's a really really neat hidden lore piece and it puts together the story of WHY the player was running from the Warden plus a lot of possible hints for future updates
Surprised I haven’t seen any comments about this yet, but I’m pretty sure the rift entrance is a smaller version of the alley from season 8. Grian could be creating lore that the rift has the same power that enlarged the moon.
Swift sneak is a leggings enchantment, it changed after someone asked a Minecraft developer if they could change what piece of gear would get swift sneak, they pointed out that boots have too many enchantments to add another and leggings don't have leggings specific enchantments, but boots have loads of them (depth strider, soul speed, frost walker)

Listen to music discs 5, 11, and 13 played at the same time. It's a really really neat hidden lore piece and it puts together the story of WHY the player was running from the Warden plus a lot of possible hints for future updates

Surprised I haven’t seen any comments about this yet, but I’m pretty sure the rift entrance is a smaller version of the alley from season 8. Grian could be creating lore that the rift has the same power that enlarged the moon.

The rift entrance looks like your midnight alley way from season 8! with the bubbly rocks and moss.
Swift sneak is a leggings enchantment, it changed after someone asked a Minecraft developer if they could change what piece of gear would get swift sneak, they pointed out that boots have too many enchantments to add another and leggings don't have leggings specific enchantments, but boots have loads of them (depth strider, soul speed, frost walker)
It also make sense that it's on leggings since you bend your legs to sneak, this lets you operate better with bend legs

Well if they appear and want a resistance, well that's not *Grian* who made the resistance this time. See, perfect loophole as long as the rift plays along.
