No mention of “Random Harvest” ; not only her best film but one of the best ever made.
Yes I have it on DVD,liked it,but not my favorite!
Was my Mom’s favorite movie and I can’t get through the end without shedding a tear.
We can’t expect anything less from the video that referenced her work with Laurence OLIVER. 💔
Random Harvest was my favorite Greer Garson film. I don't understand how you could overlook that 1942 film. Her performance was great as was Ronald Colman's.
The story of the most remarkable, elegant and beautiful actress, told so beautifully by our host! A lovely presentation.
Random Harvest( Such A Humane Story) Garson And Colman~ Dynamic🎉
Buddy and Greer absolutely adored that ranch in NM. They were so sad when they had to return much to the city to be nearest medical care for Buddy. They had many close friends in Santa Fe.
Mrs. Miniver, Mrs. Parkington, and best of all her movies “Pride and Prejudice” were so good and her portrayal as Madame Curie was so incredible that I have watched it many times now and I still love it so much. ❤
Me to ! I loved them all !
The perfect epitome of beauty and class
I loved Greer. John.

Loved this Movie from beginning to end ! It was an exceptional movie, with exceptional acting from Greer,Agnes, and Pigeon loved them more.Agnes Moorehead looks radiant in this movie,You just had to love them !
Maybe the narration is computer generated, which might account for the mispronunciations.
Why oh why do the people they find to give the commentary on these things never ever learn even basic pronounciation of famous names?
Because they are mechanical, not human voices.
His name is spelled OLIVIER. Not OLIVER as you pronounce it. Not only her first Academy Award but her ONLY Academy Award. She Was a honey of a looker and a honey of an actress. James Agee wrote he would have loved to have seen her play Lady Macbeth, another kind of royalty aside from all of her noble women.
Don't forget the famous play 12 Nights 😂
Please can we have Steve McQueen, and the handsome Dirk Bogart !!!!!!!!😊🇬🇧
It’s actually Laurence Olivier, not Lawrence or Oliver!!!
Artificial Intelligence………….its terrible.
Great vídeo!!!Make vídeo about Joan Crawford pleaseee
The black and white photo near the end was Irene Dunne, not Miss Garson. Video still was overall interesting.
You're right. I saw it, but didn't connect until I read what you'd written..
I livex her in.all the shows she worked with Waltet Pigeon. They clicked.
Lawrence Oliver, LOL!
As a teacher, too.
He played in auntie mame with roz, too
Enjoyed the video, but she did not play with L. Oliver. His name is OLIVIER dropping the 'r' when spoken.
I'm surprised Goodbye Mr. Chips wasn't mentioned. Clark Gable lost to Robert Donat for that film.
This guy sounds like a Robot mispronunciation of names like LAWRENCE OLIVIER
This narrator could put one to sleep.
Artificial intelligence………ugh.
Awful I know
Laurence “Oliver” ?! Me ignorant broth of a boy!! His name is ‘Laurence Olivier’ and don’t you ever forget it!
who pronounces Olivier as oliver???
Knew in Dallas we'd have libra parties in turtle creek..
13 men!
Its pronounced Laurence O Live eee aaay
She was so demure and puts me in mind of angelica houstons character Morticia
The narrator is obviously not familiar with what he is reading or he wouldn't mispronounce several of these names.
Because he is a damn voice robot
Sounds like an AI
It probably is. Laurence Oliver? Good night!
LAWRENCE OLIVER??????!!!!????
