Metal Detecting: Optimize Your Garrett Machine Performance & Enjoy Retirement!

If your metal detector is acting up, it might just need a factory reset. This video will help you get back to finding treasure! My favourite retirement activity is metal detecting and I don’t want to give up on it! My metal detector was not giving me accurate tones to allow me to identify targets. I was losing faith in my machine and starting to lose my joy in detecting! It was like losing a friend. This had slowly happened over time and I didn't really realize it until I found a beautiful silver ring that had rung up in the 30s - that was clearly not right. I did some research and found out that an occasional factory reset is necessary for optimal function. Also, every time the coil is changed, a reset is required.
In this video, I describe my experience and then explain how to perform a reset on your machine. It made a big difference as you will see!
