They mock their forgetfulness, making them feel ashamed and guilty of something entirely beyond their control. It's a societal betrayal, where those who should be rallying around them after all, they are who the majority voted for to personally represent to the world as your President, but instead, all you self-righteous people have no empathy. You turn your backs, perpetuating a cycle of isolation and despair.
To witness such callousness is to confront the ugliness within ourselves and within our society. It's a stark reminder of how far we've strayed from the values of kindness and decency. We must recognize the depth of our own complicity in this deplorable behavior and strive to do better. We must extend a hand of kindness, offer a shoulder to lean on, and treat every individual with the dignity and respect they deserve, regardless of their condition or circumstances. Only then can we begin to heal the wounds of our collective conscience and build a society truly worthy of the name.
