I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!
Problem with blenders is that machine oil is used for smooth speed and rotation. When cleaning make sure that the machine oil does not contaminate the drink next time you use it
the best blender is the one that lasts AND is the fastest to blend stubborn "dry" plants without the need to prod it constantly ... I'm still hunting for the ideal blender 20 years now
My biggest problem with todays blender is that the jar is made of plastic or acrylic- something i want to stay away from. I will never buy a ninja because they absolutely refuse to offer glass jars.
@@danielcalma2138 yep and the first thing that comes up is how levels of exposure in most people's lives is unlikely to cause harm. You're aware the alternatives are glass or metal? They are also bad for you if they get inside your body.

Glass doesn’t leach or stain the way plastic does. Also, it doesn’t absorb smells and flavours, and it retains temperature better (than plastic). Additionally, glass is infinitely recyclable and the more sustainable option for a transparent blender pitcher. Plus, it tends to look nicer (for longer too), and measurement etchings don’t wear off glass like they way they do on plastic or stainless steel.
