TLK Paladin is one of the best meme decks in the games history, I'm glad it's getting properly documented.

Fun fact: TLK currently only requires 5 spells and Galvadon is an 8/8 baseline. This had zero impact on its power level, and there's a good chance that you reading this had no idea.

interestingly, holy wrath paladin is actually a deck that still exists - the nerf to order in the court made flinging shirvallah at your opponent more viable than ever, to the point that it was a tier one deck pretty recently.

I feel like, if they were to rework Galvadon (given they have shown they could rework Wild cards in the past, no matter the rarity, it isn't impossible), they should make it so it not only adapts itself but also ALL your other minions in hand, deck and battlefield. A lot like the Azerite Dragon. This way it'd be a bit more powerful and viable AND fun, or at least I hope so
They already buffed it. It's now base 8/8 and the quest only requires five spells.

I also used a Last Kaleidosaur deck in wild just for the purpose of getting coins off Questing Adventurer. Then after playing Uther of the Ebon Blade you'd use Auctionmaster Beardo and the coins to OTK your opponent. Thing is you could also use Making Mummies but TLK was slightly better since it was at least POSSIBLE to complete the quest

I think the best representation of how good Kaleidosaur is the Un'goro trip video. There we get Paladin playing a Kaleidosaur as a 14 | 3 Windfury divine shield... then mage cloned said dino, made it a sheep and defeated Paladin with his own quest. Even on decks who would give you time to play a dino, they have disruption to make it useless.
PS: Is not 2 mana more... is only 1. Remember the quest costs 1.
I started playing in the year of the raven and when I hear the word adapt I get visceral, overwhelming flashbacks to my opponent summoning vicious fledgling and rolling windfury every time. Ah the good old days
If the quest recast itself after completion, it would be such a freaking fun deck

Ive had a Galvadon deck taking up one of my deck slots since it was released, and have been gradually adding cards over time. Bells got swapped with Librams, Prelate fills your hand with them, put in OG Lynessa and OG Yogg for even more fun... and it is with great regret, after Titan Yogg was nerfed... that I have removed the Quest from that deck a few months ago, to go full Yogg. I simply dont have enough card slots to fit in everything I want to 😢

Brian Kibler's videos of this deck literally got me back into Hearthstone about a year ago after my 5 year afk.
I played a shaman deck that I nicknamed "Bootleg Galvadon". You would combo murmuring elemental and volcanosaur to get 4 adaptations without the need to go through the quest. It was much better than Galvadon.
The most OP adapt card worked on itself. The flappy bird. I can't remember its name.

Not sure what you mean? The music over the rastakhan's trailer footage is just from the trailer. All the rest is from CZcams Studio creator music. While I am talking about Rastakhan's Rumble, the song playing in the background is "Keep On Movin'" by King Canyon

A cool rework would be to delete the quest part and make him adapt once and then adapt again whenever u cast a spell.
i played quite a lot of galvadon with librams (yes im ashamed of that too). He is actually samewhat decent if you get stealth, windfury, +3 atack at least once, and play timeout... and arent queuing against a controldeck which has aoe but not so much of an aggro deck that youre simply dead already either

honestly kinda like Tron legacy.
Wasn't there another Adapt card that dominated Arena because it could snowball beyond the opponent's ability to contest? The one that Adapts after attacking. Otherwise, yeah... cool idea, underpowered execution. Half of Galvadon's issues boil down to "adapting 1 minion 5 times is way worse than adapting 5 minions 1 time". Hearthstone rarely incentivizes going "tall" over "wide", plus repeatedly adapting the same minion runs the risk of rolling only dud options like keywords you already gave it.
I think if Rush existed then it might have been better but this were the years that they were trying to get rid of all charge minions.
We are truly blessed on this day.
How would you guys buff TLK? I would give Galva charge so it could be some surprise damage explained away by "it's a quest, play around it"

I hate that blizzard doesn't give buffs to some fan favourite deck, plague dk got no support rn, rainbow dk got some goofy stuff, cthun only got a little card idk just so so little to the fan favourite meanwhile constantly giving immense amount of help to combo rogue, ramp druid even tho they are already extremely powerful decks

I get why people Rastakhan's Rumble but man I love that expansion. Super flavorful and I loved a lot of the Hunter, Rogue and Warlock cards even if a lot of them were duds.
Will never agree that its even a bottom 3 expansion and I haven't rly played HS much in the last 3 years to have that bevy to compare it to.

Love the tribute but using the old (and much worse) version of the song along with touting Kibler as attributing primal fin champ as a key card even though if you watched any of his vids he stopped including it because it was too greedy (sticking a minion was a priority) shows a lack of background research as I’ve come to expect. No offense but I feel like it was a bit of a miss in that regard, love your other vids though
