I am a grown man and this song puts tears in my eyes because to me its not just about a relation ship between a man and woman but how I am sure my 14 year old niece feels towards her family and it breaks my heart . We as an uncle and aunt can only do so much to show her she is cared and loved for .
Take her, I wish I did mine...she passed away at 17 and I regret every minute she lived that life 💔.
Im 36 now but grew up not being cared about by my mum and step-father and I can tell you 14 year old me would have given anything to have an Aunt and Uncle like you both, if I had had that I might not have gone through some of the traumatic things that I did so young. I understand there is only so much you can do but it means more than you know. For her to just know you guys are there for her is so incredibly important.
