As a Cat’s supporter but in St Kilda members all 2009 season-It was the St Kilda&Geelong show. Two truly amazing footy team’s. Wow! After Hawthorn stole 2008 Grand final with sleazy intentional points-2009 was Cats Vindicated.

Finally watched the game, after all the years...saints supporter. Riewoldt even though he was a champion was poor, he read clint jones kick wrong, went running for goal, and Harry Taylor marked it unopposed, kicked to Ablett for the winning goal... If Riewoldt had read clint jones banana and spoilt Harry Taylor, it could have been a throw in, instead in st kilda fwd half...the other bad moment was Riewoldt missing a goal with Heath shaw smother in the stk Coll replay grand final
Dont follow eaither teams though I think Ross Lyon was way too defensive back then considering the talented players he had back then and he cost St Kilda a premiership. Ross Lyon is a good coach though I think he is not offesive enough back then. I beleive with a better coach they would have won a premiership during that period. Which amazed me when St Kilda appointed Ross Lyon as coach again this year. As I beleive Brett Ratten could have have done well as saints coach also. Yes saint are off to a good start this year though I beleive Brett Ratten could have them in the same place on the ladder now also
