Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. It's a perfect little cake. I have made it a few times now. The first time, I made it exactly as you described. The second time, I didn't have chocolate chips, but I added one teaspoon of espresso powder and used a chocolate buttercream frosting instead of ganache. It was very good too. The third time, I made it with the espresso powder and baked it in an 8" pan. It worked fine with that size, but it's easy to over bake. I will go back to the 6" pan in the future. I can't wait to try some of your other small batch cakes.

I am making this cake tomorrow. Can you make this in a 9 inch cake pan. I couldnt find a 6 inch cake pan in the store.
It will just be thinner and the bake time will be less but it will work

I don't use the espresso powder so not really sure but. my guess it would work fine.
