Hey Laura, wow another vlog posted! Me and my best friend just watched one of your recent vlogs and were just about to comment! We got a notification for this one! I finished It by Stephen King...took me all of April to read it, but it feels like such an accomplishment! May for me looks like the Cruel Prince trilogy...finished the first one and started the second.
I want to read Stephen Kings books so bad but they’re so intimidating in so many ways! 😬 I’ve been wanting to dive into the cruel Prince trilogy!! How did you like the first book?
Stephen King is so intimidating, and I don't know why I picked up like the biggest one to get into it lol but it was worth the hype. I actually didn't like the first one as much as I thought I was going to, which was unfortunate! I guessed a lot of the twists before they happened, so that was kind of a bummer. Hoping I'll like it more as it goes on.
Also, I read Aloha Alibi which you recommended a while back, and I absolutely loved it. I'm definitely going to read that series more!!
I think when the book is only full of spice that the writer is lazy and really has nothing to say. I DNF books like that.
I love a good spice filled book, but I agree there need to be more going on and in this case that just wasn’t happening 😅 I wanted to love the series as much as everyone else, but I’ve been finding myself having unpopular opinions A LOT recently 😬
