Welcome to Cúirt!
Cúirt is back with a bang, and will be filling the streets and spaces of Galway with words from 4-10 April 2022! www.cuirt.ie
We’re so excited to bring our programme to the world. Between 4-10 April 2022, Cúirt will host over 40 events across the city of Galway. The festival comprises a mix of live performances and talks, with a selection of the programme broadcasted live from Galway. We hope you’ll find the programme filled with writing and books you can’t wait to dive into. We are proud to have created a programme that reflects the diversity of the world around us.
As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering the broadest possible audience to engage with the festival, we are employing Pay-What-You-Can ticketing for our events.
We have so much in store, from page-turning thrillers with Lucy Foley and Edel Coffey to the hottest new Irish fiction from Louise Kennedy and Sara Baume, to the international bestselling and unputdownable novels of Rumaan Alam (and that’s not even the half of it!). No matter what you’re into, there’s something for you at Cúirt this year. You’ll find the best in Irish and international poetry with Roger Robinson, Raymond Antrobus, Gail McConnell and Victoria Kennefick, a full strand of Irish-language events for you Gaeilgóirs, the best book-to-screen adaptations at Palás Cinema, and late night hijinks and spoken word at our revamped Festival Club in Carroll’s Bar!
