Ummm, given that these plugins are models of high-end analog circuitry, wouldn't it have been better not to use thin, staccato sound sources to demo them?
A solid overview. I spent a couple of hours with them last night. What suprised me was some of the plugins seemed quite average ... at first. When I started to experiment with the soure masterial I got some very pleasing sounds. Specifically I wasn't feeling the Phasor .. switched over to some nice electronic piano sounds and it just jumped to life with a bit of tweaking. My sense of these is they are a bit special but with all efx what you feed them is important. I wish we could buy them individually. I'd pick up a few immediately.
Being a channel about music, a person might thing you'd get your audio levels right when you upload videos. Apparently not. Seriously. This is ridiculously quiet. It's not hard to set levels to appropriate levels for upload. C'mon. You're supposed to be professionals here.
This video was rushed to market. Before you film, take a few minutes to zero in on the best presets, and use various types of guitar parts as examples, rather than just the funk pattern. Is the VST only mono? Your video presents it as such. And also, as mentioned below, the video was very soft. Based on this video, I can hear nothing other than what a couple of already-available creative filters could accomplish. I'm sure that's not that case. I'm sure this serious of plugins is capable of much more. I hope you make another video that shows off more features, and get rid of this one soon.
@@User37717 There are dozens of videos released every day about similar products. Each video of this type should be the best presentation of the product. Producers of such videos actually benefit from viewers (especially viewers with money to spend), who say that the video didn't quite nail it. My comment didn't say that the product was bad. My comment said that the product deserved a better intro video.
I always love it when one of these types of music/audio tech channels screw up their own audio. Surprisingly happens fairly often. Kind of hard to trust a plug in review when the person involved in recording/uploading the video obviously doesn't have a clue what they're doing with audio. So how do they sound? Nobody knows....at least not based on this video. Do better. The fact this was uploaded and either nobody listened to it or worse did, and thought it was "fine"...is concerning.
I was about tu pull the trigger just because of how much I want to have real mooger foogers and how much I loove all of my Moogs, even the Werkstatt-01.... but then All this FX I can attain with plugins I already have... and easily. Do you find this VST mooges something great or just merely good? what new do they bring to the table? nothing really, or do they?
What they bring is the same CV connectivity capability that the original hardware MFs have and the fact that you get all of these MFs for one low, low price. But if you're happy with what you've already got, then stick with that!!!
based on this review... there's really nothing in this collection worthy of a purchase. Doesn't really add anything but cool graphics to what I have. Perhaps it's the presentation? I'm not impressed with the sound.

I had to insert a Limiter and PUSH it to get decent volume out of this video. Please "master" your volume when releasing a video.

Making a poorly recorded video is forgivable. Leaving it up is not.
How can you do an audio demo and not have volume normalised
The whole point of these is that they can be used together to produce some really unique fx - pity you didn't demonstrate that.
