Was kind of surprised at that cost of renting a scooter 😮. Great info!

It’s not the cheapest but can really save your back/legs! We are always saying we should buy our own but then the question is-how to get it to Canton?? lol!

We are excited for our first trip and for lodging do we need to find a city outside of canton any suggestions?

      Hi! How exciting!
First start with Air BnB to see if there’s anything available. I recommend the Acorn Hideaway Suites in Canton. They are rustic rooms and the hosts are wonderful!
I prefer to stay in town cuz after a day of running the grounds…I’m tired and don’t want to drive far! There are regular hotels in canton as well but their price doubles for First Monday weekends.
The next closest town to look into is Wills Point-there is a Best Western there. I’ve also stayed as far as Emory in a yurt!

Is there an admission charge to get in?

No admission-it’s free! But, parking is $5 or $10 depending on the lot. If u want to do some extra walking, you can park at the Canton Marketplace for free and walk over to the grounds.

Where is the best place to park ?

For a newbie, I say the best place to park is the first parking area you drive upon! Also, you’ll want to download the Trade Day Navigator App for your trip: You’ll be able to drop a pin where you parked so you can easily find your way back to it!
