- Hey all! Here's a special treat just for you BIO students to help in your exam prep for Paper 1. This January 2017 Paper 1 is the most recent multiple choice paper video I currently have.
CORRECTIONS: Question 10 should be B. Not all manufactured products can be recycled.
Question 20 should be D. The stomata open to increase water loss due to the increase in temperature.

I know im late lol, but for #20, you actually had the correct answer miss. Because its a hotter temperature, the stomata would close to reduce the water loss or evaporation from the plant.
@@samarastennett2224 Honestly that was always my thinking. D really doesn't make much sense. Not sure why I made the correction🤔 Trying to remember if it was another tutor that chose that answer.

shouldn't no. 20 be (D) because (B) only occurs if the plant is adapted to do that?
B should be the correct one. The plant is exposed to higher temperature so it will aim to conserve water by closing its stomata.

You would need to find out from your teacher, I'm not sure.

Hey B, would not be correct. The reason it is C is because haemoglobin in red blood cells attracts to carbon monoxide more than oxygen, therefore preventing the efficient transport of oxygen around the body.
