It was like yesterday when I was on a Go Bus near Toronto with a beautiful blonde Irish girl listening to this song days after it’s release. She held one earphone of yellow Walkman and I the other. We were so close. Then she talked about a guy she liked. Then I hated the song. 💔

This song also works great with power chords. I always palm mute them and just keep a steady 8 note down pulse going. You can switch this up for the chorus with the open chords to add a great dynamic to the song.

How did you create this non-legato sound at the preview? It sounds so much better than just strumming the chords
I learnes how to play this one on the electric guitar in high school but only the main riff. I have always wanted to play the part that plays before the chorus.

Jist cannot strum this, especially with the rhythm you're using, it becomes a different song. Gotta do muted power chords.
I'm not against a simplified beginner version of a song. But when it strays from the feel of the song, it isn't any help
