I can hear that beautiful UK weather.
Beautiful sunny day isn't it?
You sure there champ?
I,m Australian, never seen a face brick like that, a cavity tie like that, that style of block on the internal leaf or a telescopic vent.
@@AF-ti7nb are u skunked that’s the uk lmao
10 1/2 London trowel
Good finishing work.👌
Well done mate I can remember the first time I put one in as well
what is the filler he is using to cement the bricks? looks really different than normal concrete
@@lordjaashin it’s mortar, it depends on the sand and if it’s dyed.
@@lordjaashin 😂
So lemme get this straight you lay bricks for a living then go home and watch people lay bricks? Something seems off about your comment
Why are we 6 months in and still not finished?
The brick layer:
You always drop on lovely bricks! Up here In Yorkshire they’re always shite! Gobbos shite! One coarse point up!
Yorkshire Brick used to be good but yes it's shite now
Hate those things, we put the bottom part in first up scotland and then the kit goes on, since joiners are useless we never have the clearance to slot rest of the vent in🤦
Those vents are too small mate, rename it incorrect
Good work
All my life I’ve worked with my family a lot doing masonry work never once did I think to record everything and post it. That’s the thing with CZcams just post your everyday life and you’ll become rich from it
I don't know how to describe it but your videos sometimes your show how well you flow in masonry and you make it look like easy just like in Wallace and grommet animation when they are pouring concrete and setting up a wall 🧱 looks animated
Einstein & Hawkins Have Nothing On You. Sooo Smart. 🧠
So much hardwork done for construction and earthquake destroys it all in a sec
These Videos are somehow so satisfying
300 grand house foundation built on 3 foot of water lol
Standard lol
Do u even have a clue what ur going on about? For starters concrete was designed and actually goes of just as well under water. Hate it when you see a armchair warrior like yourself who never set foot on a site typing shit they have no idea about.
This is so cool
Pretty freaking cool aye
Nicely done
I like my bricks extra windy
now we just need the plasterer to come along and smash the shit out of the air brick with his mixer drill
True 😂
😂😂
Is that the river Euphrates behind
With that speed I'm sure my house will be built after I'm in my grave.
😂
Can’t win with you I bet you'll either complain that he's too slow but when he works fast you'll call him rough.
He's making a video of one thing. This isn't his production speed
Hey can I hire u pleasee ur building is so Neat
Jk
As it should be,good job
You would be surprised how many brickies don't do this and are ruff as burnt toast
So satisfying🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
It’s a weep, it’s a brick it’s a, I don’t fucking know I’m going home
Me parece una solución genial para evitar las humedades
Do you wet the bricks before laying?
Why am i so addicted to these
I see a lintel on the inner skin for the telescopic vent, what about the outer skin... why inner skin needs lintel, but not outer?
Imagine forgetting to connect it together before finishing the wall :x
what about the outside of the brick?
My father do same mason work,
I don't know why you record these videos, as if it were something from another world. I have been a specialist mason for more than 25 years, laying all kinds of bricks and the truth is that I do not see so much science and astonishment in this, the truth....
Okay? Don’t watch his videos then you melon😂 If they aren’t for you and it doesn’t interest you then fine but they interest people who are learning or dont know much about bricklaying. You aren’t the target audience of his videos. The truth …..
Very sloppy mortar work.... Is that how y'all do it in the UK?
Yeah mate every single building site in the uk uses the exact same mixing method and mortar every single one
An Other Brick in Wall!
Nice work
It’s called an air brick lad
🧐 yes the red brick part is, So what do you call the telescopic vent part?
great craftmanship! how long does it take you to build a house? 10 years?
BRICKS.
hardwork 😎
I seen this for 1hr that wall at same size I don't know when the building was ready
what is this thing that you put on the brick?
It's an air brick or vent to ventilate the crawl space below the floor
If I did that I'd get mortar smudges all over the bottom of the grille!
Now they're hollow smh
I need some of that rain y’all don’t want
Aren't they Periscopic?
Touchè
I call them periscopes but loads of manufacturers refer to them as telescopic for some reason
What is this man?
The red part is called an air brick and the black but is a periscope vent and they are put in place to act as ventilation to allow air to flow under the flooring which helps massively to prevent the joists holding up the floor from rotting and becoming weak and unstable
Working in swamps cool
How much do u earn per hour ? You scared of a bit of hard graft muppet
And then mice will squeeze and come through those holes into the house ))
Never laid queens but on a few jobs, maybe they're used more in Europe.
Nice👍👍
I hate all that plastic junk in the building industry
Helllouuu, what is that for?
Glad you share with us
It acts as ventilation to allow air to flow under the flooring which helps massively to prevent the joists holding up the floor from rotting and becoming weak and unstable.
In the UK, the use of beam and block floors are common. Any void below the floors, including timber floors as mentioned, need through ventilation to ensure trapped moisture escapes, as this can cause problems of damp and potentially cause dry rot.
The right side needed one more tap down
Telescopic vent. Advantages and disadvantages is installing one?
Hi brother ! Where from
Why bed joints all different height. Bottom one massive and top one skinny.
They dey gauge it 🤣🤣
Right
What about the other side?
Blockwork on internals
You building houses on a flood plain there. Wtf.
Telescopic air vents for vent under suspended floors. Basic building regulations in England for air flow
C'est un très bon travail
Se ficar alisando demais o patrão manda embora no primeiro dia kkkkk
What trowel you using
Metal one
9 out 10 there pal! 5mm to high for the blocks you had to tap it down 🤣🤣🤣🤣
engineering jobs 👏💪👌
What is that for??? The black one
Looks like your on day rate
Slowest brickie in the uk
Quite the opposite
If you watch his over vids he is quite the opposite. He’s slow in this to show the process. If he does it at 100mph what’s the point of showing us ?
Installing 😆 🤣
I like this sound

What is that

Never work in Wisconsin
Assentou o tijolo com o cabo da colher para mim não é pedreiro!
Como deve ser ???
Supposed to put extensions on the bottom now so it’s hanging out
Good
What's telescopic about it? Id rather plaster it up nap finish brick are boring
It’s telescopic because of its shape. 🤦🏾♂️
@@user-kh9nd9iv2t yeah right its square
@@stevecam2109 😂 fucks sake I'll explain it like I am to a child then.
The brick has a vent behind it that goes down and back.
It should be called a periscope brick to be precise but here's what a periscope is looks like and the brick resembles the shape of it.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periscope
@@user-kh9nd9iv2t 😂😂 i believe ya dude. Are you a bricky
@@stevecam2109 yeah not long though only about 2 years.
Chingon brother god bless you!
Why did someone bother to film this?
To demonstrate to people who are learning bricklaying, interested in construction or are fascinated about how the houses they live in are built.

It's gotta come daaaaaan a bit

That's some grimey work. I'm assuming y they install it incorrect it to not look like shit?
Hello

Ok 👌 👍
Wow Rapih bangat....
Claramente se ve ahí como el pegamento no se adiere al ladrillo pésimo trabajo. Osea no por que está bien prolijo y limpio el ladrillo significa está bien echo el trabajo. La verdad estos vídeos son pura mentira.
