I snagged this after the 2nd restock. I use mine on my light carry days, light work days. Only personal flaw is the D ring placement on the strap. Besides that it’s pretty perfect and convenient when it comes to accessing my concerns inside.

They should add side zips to that front pocket so when you sling the bag upfront you could easily access small items

Is the back panel waxed also? If so, any issues with the wax rubbing off on clothing?
1) can you wear it not completely on the back? For example, in crowded situations anything on the back is liable to be stolen. Or, if it's hot, I want the bag to be hanging loose on a side.
2) how waterproof is it?

The bag can be front loaded or carried over one shoulder (how I carry it now).
I’d compare it to most waxed canvas. It should be ok at repelling light rain but I wouldn’t suggest leaving it outside during a long a thunderstorm.
Question: i am a big, heavy 350 lb guy. My other Nutsac bags had a strap extendable to 6' but the questions for the sling bag on the Nutsac site says the strap for the sling bag only extends to 4'. That seems far too small for a big guy like me. What are your thoughts?
It may be able to work for you if you wear the bag on the side-just over one shoulder. I’ve actually transitioned to carrying it this way as it’s easier to remove over short distances. Another option is completely removing the strap and carrying it by the handle.
If they would get rid of the mollie system and put pockets in the bag it would be more functional
I like the mollie for smaller items. Maybe they’ll come out with a version without it.
Do people by the right in the rain scratch pads just for videos or do they actually use them? lol

I’m looking for a bag that I can carry riding motorcycle over and Southeast Asia. I want to carry is a regular size iPad. Along with a raincoat since I won’t be carrying any of my regular blades I’d like to have a spot inside for carrying like a small fingernail, clipper and knife. That would be probably a perfect little set up with the backpack straps.

If you’re open to a messenger bag, they have bags that will accommodate at 13’ to 17’ laptop.
Good review! The reason you need the extra pouches because the molle is really worthless with zero stretch and to small for anything. Would have been better if it was a removal Molle panel and also a full clamshell opening as the lower Molle are totally useless. I have this bag and I am really trying hard to love it but their other bags that I own are much better and more thought out. On top of that the strap is the worst I have ever used and had to come up with an alternative to make it work. Love the idea but I really think they did not put an honest effort into it.

. @VincentTamer Yes I did as it was easier to copy and paste. I just want people to know for the money it is not perfect and needs a little more thought. I have five of their bags and this was last one that I purchased and I would have to do a lot more research prior to another purchase.

@@VincentTamer Still on the mission for the perfect bag! Thought this was going to be it but it has to many quirks. Been looking at Alpaka bags more but still havent found the right fit. Maybe I am to picky!!
I agree, for me the molle would be totally worthless. It was the deciding factor for me not to purchase this bag. Would have been much better if it was replaced with hook & loop, or an additional zippered pocket or two.

I think it gets the job done for edc. I’m still using it. If you carry larger items like a laptop you might want to try one of their larger bags.

Don’t think that’s going to work for conceal carry. That lip plus the sling strap looks like it’s not re-enforced at the attachment point. Need to be able to put in a few hundred reps drawing my weapon without it breaking . That looks like it my break.
