SINGING BOWL DEMONSTRATION: KATHMANDU, NEPAL (4K)

  • During my tour of the Monkey Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal, I was given an interesting demonstration of singing bowls that are not only musical instruments, but are also used for meditation and healing. The shop owner showed me how they work and the bowls do make very soothing sounds. Although many of the singing bowls are known as Tibetan singing bowls because it was originally thought that they came from Tibet, many are actually made in Kathmandu. I enjoyed the demonstration so much, of course I ended up buying a singing bowl!
The owner of the shop is Nhuchhe Ratna Shahi. His shop is called Swoyambhu Handicraft and it’s located in the Swoyambhu (Swayambhunath) Stupa (Monkey Temple) complex in Kathmandu. His email address is Swoyambhuhandicraft@gmail.com His phone number is + 977 981-0272918 or +977 984-1617038. He is also on Facebook under Swoyambhu Handicraft.

This so common in india and Nepal in temples as soon as we enter the temple there will be a bell which makes similar sound that's the reason the old people tell us to ring the bell before you go for praying or meditating in the temple

@@SalmanKhan-wn8lp what's wrong in that , won't you guys bring religion into everything.
There's no need to use abusive words.
Hinduism Buddhism Jainism even some part of Sikkism , all have same philosophy and idiology and very very very thin line to differentiate between those ideas.
I guess you think Hinduism is all about multiple gods and Buddhism says that there is only one God,right?? But wrong, Hinduism core principle says there is only one supreme power and everything is just the manifestation of that power, take Vishnu Shiva or any God , they all are just the part of that Supreme power including you me and every other living and non living thing in this universe. Thats why Indian Culture says Namaste which means I bow down to the God within you. That's applies to every damn thing around us ,trees ,stones ,water ,hills ,sun ,moon , animals .... everything. Thats why Hindus pray for multiple forms of the same God.
We don't say our God is the only God and he is only great, we say God is present everywhere even I'm a part of that Supreme power. It's all inclusive.
Hinduism also has people who don't believe in God but definitely believe that some super power maintains this universe ( ask any astrophysicist about this for scientific explanation).
Hindus don't look at that Supreme Power as either man or a woman. It's genderless. Can you give a gender for river , rocks, earth ,sun , Milky way galaxy ?? No right. Need to see the bigger picture of the Universe.

It is realistic. It’s science. It’s not just froofy jargon. The vibration ACTUALLY heals our cells. Just like when people are held for random in other countries, sometimes the guerilla groups will use pitches (not enjoyed by the body), played over and over to make the person sick. Educate yourself.
