His mom's boyfriend physically abused him when he was a child. In an old interview Nate talked about it a little and said it was verbal and physical abuse.This person scared him and then beat him.He didn't want to go into too much detail but one thing he said he did was make him sit in a chair for 15 minutes before taking him downstairs and beating him because he wanted to see him scared,so every time he sat down he knew what was coming after fifteen minutes

NF has changed music , music videos, and peoples aspects of life. People expect rap to have a certain taste to it . People are climbing all over themselves in their minds on how to be the most woke. What NF did was go into a different dimension and bring back the knowledge we all are seeking. Rap is poetry , poetry to make you think about what is and what could be . He uses rap to open your mind and rethink reality . He makes videos to expand your mind visually while his music does it mentally. NF music is the perfection of what being woke really means.

forgive himself and have a 'clean slate' in his
journey of traumas he needs to release to God
who has already forgiven him through his perception
of his Redeemer Jesus Christ.... yet.....
NF leaves the interpretation as an open invitation to
the listener to grasp in a more acceptable parable to
