I have to confess I turned this documentary off after the first few minutes. When she did the 1st of the month cinnamon trend and blew the cinnamon OUT of her door, well, I was done. Its sad really, there are so many experienced witches out there and a lot of them are on social media and easy to find, that could have made that documentary amazing and given viewers a better insight into our practices. One day I'll try and watch it to the end, but im not ready yet 😂 thank you for your honesty ❤

Thank you for tackling this. I found myself a bit confused at some points of the film. If they had said she was new and learning what it is to practice, I'd have been less bothered.
I am so glad you made this video. I was thinking the same exact thing. Not to be mean to that girl at all, but she was a new Witch coming into her own and to start the documentary on her perspective made no sense to me. Also, I feel that what it means to be a Witch to one person doesn't necessarily mean the same to another. Depending on what their belief is and how they practice, it is very different to each person. The Craft is personal to what each feels it represents to them. I found that documentary almost irritating, again not trying to be mean, just my opinion. Love your video as always! XO
😊😊😊New Subscriber. I am going to watch the documentary, not for the reason of spreading misleading or misinformation. I am watching it for selfish reasons. I am an introvert, absolutely love spirits...yet because of my experiences and denial of practicing anything, "Witchy", 😊❤😊, to survive. I feel a need to see the truth, yours, theirs and what is now history.
Recently, I have come to the crossroads...Stay in denial and hiding or work my craft and help others.
The problem I am having is I honestly do not understand people. Everthing else in this reality I live in is _______(Can't quite find term that defines what I am thinking), with purpose that is so tied together in somekind living circular balanced energy. Why adjectives, (Labels), which were once descriptive words, are turning into a person, place or thing, (Noun)? For some reason that scares me because of the division it causes. I really hope that makes sense.😅❤😅. I guess it just comes down to wanting see the perceptions of others, so hopefully one day the, "Whole Picture", will make sense to me.❤❤❤
I haven't watched the documentary and I don't intend to. I agree that in order to label yourself a witch you need to be practicing the craft, otherwise what is the point?
You're not alone in feeling annoyed. I think the issue with, say, your example about 100 cookbooks; in their head, *an outside viewer* either in person or through a camera will say "oh wow what a knowledgeable cook!" It's all about external validation, and since things like "occult" or "magic" have such gossamer definitions it becomes nigh impossible to pin down "witch." Ergo, it becomes whatever the trend says it is & it requires outside validation to exist. We were lucky to have to forge ournown paths woth whatever eas available back in the day because we were forced to learn many lessons that today's witches might take a while to come across, if at all. (Question every book and read between the lines, how to work w/o exquisite materials, etc.)
Was just thinking about {Robert Schuller} & his great 1st "Drive in" hamburger /Crystal Cathedral/church there in Garden Grove CA ~ as he would of intersected [Hwy. 66] bringing his family down from PA also . . . For all the great magnified grandiose sermons, though the parking facility was completely packed to capacity, the building was truly disappointing for all that talk for donations. Mother Goose Witch Monastery use to state that she was "The Real Witch of Orange County" until replying to her at one time that {my sister} was ~ as she had passed . . . she really surprised me though coming back with one [LINE] verbatim, concerning The Santa Cristo Montana's & The Blood of Christ . . . someone must of crossed Divined that one & snitched. Your right about the CATHOLICS as starting an argument/discussion with my female cousin about her 1/2 sisters' faith . . . concerning the questionability of the TWO different types acceptability one to the other, well you know what that CAUSED now that we have one who eats Corn much, or so it does appear! About Tarot Cards??: Over Two Years of Rabbi (1) with the Torah only, the other The Elder a liberal from NY . . . For all the direct card "0" /Workings/and Shara (the Mother) only to end up at the Start {Bottom) "Malkuth" # 10th Sephirah signed with this SIGN: A single virgin (red) feather at the top tier of the front door steps ~ simultaneously ~ with a dead (green) jeweled beetle on the back door step . . . . as I've be drawing my own as a practice with a box of Black enchanted 24, then ~ now with the alternate 24 Yellow until those erasures run out.
