Do not forget: Angelina is only 18 years of age and till now she has lived most of time away from the spotlights. I think that's a very good choice. See what is happening that last few month, now she is 18: This video, show in Las Vegas, show in Britain. And than there is her genre which I love a lot. But it is not popular pop music, so we just have to see and wait how things are going. But my guess is Angelinas time will come. And it will come the way she and her team wants it to go.

As for the church, is't St. James' Church Sussex Gardens, Paddington, London. It is located halfway between the southern entrance to Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate to Hyde Park. Oscar Wilde was married in this church. It is normally a bright, light-filled nave.

I had mixed feelings about this song when we were being fed all those teases, but I kept listening and doing my usual with Angelina, falling in love, and now this string/piano version in church, and I'm lost in her beautiful voice, over the top in love with the song. I expect this to be such a magical year for Angelina. A story-teller supreme, gifted with a voice like none other. Collaborating now with Toby Gad adds excitement to her future releases. If only the rest of the world would hit pause and take a moment to listen to this young lady sing...if only. And an aside. I love this version/performance in the church, but anything Angelina does is beautiful, but for me, this one is exquisite.

There has been absolutely no promotion of Jordan on any American media whatsoever, which is why nobody here has any idea who she is. I hope Toby is able to get her on American television to promote this song before they release their new album. It’s truly baffling now that her career has actually started. The Las Vegas shows were a disaster attendance wise because they only promoted them on CZcams, and Americans get their news and entertainment from TV, so the public knew nothing about them, even locally in Vegas. She needs to hire a public relations firm or manager, her Uncle Mike can remain her agent but he’s killing her career!
They have to shake the system !! ☺
Nice reaction Joel! Just to let you know, the other co-writer of the song, BC Jean, was the first to sing the song as well as the person the song came from. Per Toby, they played it for Beyonce one day and she really wanted to sing and use this song, and the rest you say is history. Also, the little snippet you played from the audio is called The Artist version. There was another version that was released at the same time called The Piano Diaries version, which is this music video. As you can tell, the instrumentation is a little different but still is very good! Angelina and Toby have been working together for a while now and are creating new music for her to sing. They teased a song at a special event called Bad Valentine and it should be coming out within a few months. I too wonder about the marketing plan for Angelina, however, just about everything she's doing is a pretty big deal! All it takes is one song that becomes a huge commercial hit to really launch Angelina in to the stars! We all hope this will happen very soon!

Joel, I greatly enjoyed your discussion of the course of Angelina's journey through the music industry. Thank goodness for Google Translate and CC. Many of the questions and issues that you have brought up are ones that I too have puzzled over. Discovering and following Angelina has piqued my interest in the music industry and its inner machinations. From my layman's view from outside it appears very murky, somewhat mysterious and perhaps even haphazard in some aspects. I am positive that Michael, Sara and Mery have Angelina's interests at heart and they seem to be very intelligent, industrious people who have the resources to gather experts in many aspects of the music industry (artistic, legal, promotional, social media, etc. etc.). Angelina herself seems to be a very perceptive person who definitely knows what she wants and is now an adult who could (and maybe does) make decisions about what strategies she wants to have employed on her behalf. I wouldn't mind sitting down with Angelina, Michael and Sara and pick their minds (that would be a dream come true). Like you, I hope to be around long enough to see the outcome of Angelina's efforts. She's already been working very hard for a very long time. Perhaps I will get to meet you at one of Angelina's events in the future and thank you in person.

She first publicly performed this song on May 16, 2024 at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles, live in a small club....a performance that fortunately was livestreamed. The instruments were essentially the same as here - piano and strings. It was stunning, and every bit as good, I feel, as the studio version used for this music video.
