My bag has become almost all Cobra in recent years. LTDx LS driver, Biocell + 3/4w, Fly Z Pro irons. Best bang for same/better performance.
I hit a Cleveland halo #2 off the tee, I seem to be more consistent with it over a driver. I play the gold forward tees, I’m 70. Thanks
Cobras are best bang for buck in previous model market and new models especially for fairways and hybrids. They drop prices heavy and fast. And the ball speed are matching other top brands.

@@HowGoodGolf my radspeed 3 wood. The eagle caller. Hahahaha picked it up for 199 Canadian when aerojet dropped. Fujikura motore shafts are pure!!!
Just got a Aerojet LS driver for 160 usd.
I had a PXG hybrid, all black on black and had to change it, couldn't easily square the face so had to change it. Good shots were amazing but there were just wild ones in there, changed to a Titleist TSI3 in exactly the same specs and the change was instantaneous. I love my ping irons with the white bottom groove
Yep this hybrid is a gem. Like all the 2024 Cobra products. If you want a Cobra driver that will Rock your socks off check out the new Limited Edition Palm Tree Edition Darkspeed X or LS Driver! Black w/blue. Wow. I bought one it is gorgeous. Love all the cobra stuff this year, a really nice change from the other brands.
Excellent review and I agree that this hybrid looks amazing so I cannot wait to test it out, I am looking at the 17 degree 2 hybrid to potentially replace my 16.5 degree 3 wood as a fairway finder and for approaches into par 5s, so what spin levels were you getting with this club because as a high speed player I have found some hybrids to be too high spinning.
I have some Lazrus Golf Club. All Hybirds in the 4 through Pw set. After a lot of usage, the Black has come off some. Look lik I have hit a lot of balls with them. And I have. I never worry about looks. If it works for you, damn the looks. All that matters at the end of 18, is the score.
Would be interesting to compare this dark speed hybrid side by side against the Cobra King Tec 2023 hybrid.
Bought one earlier today absolutely love it for the reasons you have outlined.

Its a good club if you want a non adjustable club. The King Tech is better in my opinion because you can adjust it and no two golfers hit the ball the same
My next hybrid will be adjustable. I can't stand the toed in look of most hybrids. For someone who draws/hooks the ball, they mess with me something fierce!
I have two fully adjustable Cobra F6 hybrids that are a similar shape and size. I won't be getting rid of them anytime soon.
I've been gaming cobra hybrid for quite a while now, going all the way up to 6H.
I’m playing their LTDx fairways and hybrids. Great value at the time and super easy to hit. As a senior player, these have replaced everything up to my 7i. How much better are the new Dark Speeds I wonder, Alex?

Very nice club and I think I will trade in my two year old Cobra hybrid and try this new one. One thing I have noticed on a few of the 2024 hybrids they kind of have the smaller head and shape of the old Adams hybrids. What do you think

Looks stunning, but not for me.
I’ve made friends with my 2007 Cleveland hi-bore 2-hybrid (also in 19 degrees), wit a stock Fujikura regular shaft; it’s been in de bag for 16 years, I hit it 180-190m carry when I put a 3/4 swing on it. If I hit it any harder, it spins up, goes higher, but flies the same distance (depending on wind obviously). I hit a strong 150-170 carry fade out of the rough. Basically, I know that club through and through
I just love that one, it’s never going going out of the bag I think. It would feel like cheating. So, it’s probably not better, but better for me 😉

BTW, I think you can get a second hand Cleveland Hi-bore hybrid for about €40-60…
Oh yeah, about the black clubs.
I had a blacked out Wilson 52• Gap wedge, for about 3 years.
Completely wore away the paint on the sole (hitting off mats in the winter), but also an impact patch on the face (just right of centre 😱) where I seemed to hit it most. Actually helped me with my set up, showing how to hit the centre better.

‘Cause I tried last year’s Launcher XL & was losing 10m with driver, compared to my 12yr old TaylorMade RBZ stage 2.
My Mizuno CLK is similar.is better because adjustable

Seriously, a 19 degree you fly it 226? You do not look like a monster sized guy. Is it the club? Perhaps summarize for us your distances vs. few key clubs. Only thing lacking in your reviews for me is no reviews at a club head speed for us mid HCs. ? Thanks!
