Applaud the people that do this work! My nephew is a flight nurse on a 206. That's a tight set up for patient care!

I have nothing but respect for these people and what they do. This is in northern Arizona and some of their LZ's they have are pretty tricky looking to me...as someone in their 1st helicopter. The flight nurse was amazing, she has been a nurse for 30 years 15 in a helicopter. Definitely the seasoned veteran that you would want to see if you were in need.

Nothing better than a 350b model AStar

I'm not a pilot, but I would expect these medivac helicopters will be ready to go immediately and at a moments notice. The flight "checks and balances" are to be completed as part a post flight inspection allowing for a minimal time pre- flight inspection so this thing can get going like 'right now' if not sooner.

That looks like a really awkward setup for the patient.

The patient’s feet will be toward the front of the aircraft, so the head will be back with the flight medic and/or nurse.

I worked for them about 10 yrs....when they were in West Plains MO.......love my job as an A&P. Pulled wrenches on 206L's and a 407 or two.

This flight wasn't for a patient or anything, so I'm sure the start up was a bit more relaxed for this.

The patient they were picking up was the pilot's mother-in-law. He was taking his sweet time.
