Actually have beaten viper on master... and it was hell. I think i spent three to four hours grinding that mission (granted, i was doing a run where if i got killed i had to restart the mission completely
It kinda depends on the dev team's personal philosophy, some devs focus on gameplay and story is secondary, like in carrion and dead cells, while others may focus on story first, like mass effect and fallout

I have, to further that I played all of them with the challenge of can you beat the game without picking anything up? The results: 2033, yes you can and I didn't use up a whole filter, 2034 I failed because I use 5 bullets of a sniper at the end because I only had 3 rounds in my revolver and couldn't get through the tank, exodus I used some molotovs to kill the bear because there is no other way. I also just remembered that i did fail the challenge for all of them because you have to pick up filters, medkits etc at the start (forgot what it is for exodus but theres the map near the start and backpack at the end). I also added the fact that it's more of "can you beat the metro games without picking up anything that isn't a mission item" I.e the backpack, map, starting medkits etc I didn't pick up ammo or weapons or filters and played on the easiest difficulty. Other than what I mentioned I did them all with some challenge. Also to fix the filter problem I'd not even use a mask for 30 secs and then put it on for a second and off again which acted as if I had it on the whole time.
I am pretty sure he know cause in the video he said “dropping a grenade in his breathing chute” and jumping on titans multiple time and dropping grenade down the hole on the titans which is an action that you do when you rodeo and have a battery already
I don't know. I think I have clocked 40 hours and i know how to bunny hop, gravity star boost, and utilize the grapple fairly well. But considering I looked that shit up and used a fair amount of my time trying to make sure they were used without hurting how well I played, I doubt I could consider myself a pro

After attempting viper for about 2.5 hours, I can say without a doubt in my mind that it is impossible. There are no anti titan weapons on this level (except the archer at the beginning that you lose almost immediately). The scorched can easily take half to all of BT’s health before even looking at viper. The weapons at your disposal are far to weak to do enough damage output to even break the shields and a rodeo only does half shield damage and the shield will be fully recharged by the time a second finished. Viper without a titan is effectively, if not literally, impossible. Edit: turns out there is an MGL somewhere in the mission, but Viper’s mobility makes it near worthless
Would it be possible to get through Viper only? Does the cutscene of Viper dying automatically give you a pass? Can you do that and just avoid the Scorches and focus all your power on Viper or will BT die before that happens?

White Captain lots struggled with him on master, even if you didn’t struggle with it a lot did. I personally didn’t but managed to get analed by slone who’s commonly thought of as one of the easiest in master runs.

White Captain lots struggled with him on master, even if you didn’t struggle with it a lot did. I personally didn’t but managed to get analed by slone who’s commonly thought of as one of the easiest in master runs.

AllGameRiot A. A missile launcher is considered a gun. B. If you don’t consider missile launchers a gun than you can use scorch for every situation, thus defeating the purpose of a challenge
Personally I think a true challenge should be “can you beat titanfall 2 with only melee” because you can defeat viper with melee it is just a pain in the ass
