"Why are we going back and forth with these two stories?"
"Similar traumatic experiences."
If Ted could bust through a door right now...
Knew this would be a tough one for Bryce, the sad parent moments always get him. Loved Rob wishing Ted was there, and he shows up 1 second later, excellent timing.
Yes 👏
Rick Astley posted a very nice statement after he saw this scene.
Even after watching a full season and a half of this show, I would've been skeptical that it could make me tear up at a RickRoll.
I love seeing how invested you guys are in these characters. Some reactors just clamp onto the light-hearted comedy but it's clear you guys really connect with the individual characters. Enjoy the journey.
!!!
Oh boy, I've sort of been dreading this episode. The scenes between Ted and Sharon get me every single time. It was written and acted so beautifully. The whole thing explains Ted's character and his immense positivity so well
And its still kind of subtle, despite that. When Ted says he doesn't know if his father knew what a good man he ways, and that he wished he'd told him, he's implying that he blames himself for his father's death. It's not just his father he's angry at, but himself as well.
"Avenge me, Keeley" is one of my favorite lines in the series
the scene where keeley finds out about sam is SO FUNNY all their reactions are hilarious
Avenge me, Keeley. AVENGE ME!
A beautiful episode; the hard stuff is often the good stuff. I think my favorite clip of this episode, that unfortunately wasn't featured in the video, is when Sassy tells Rupert to "fuck off and die". Gotta love that loyal best friend energy!
This is an epic award winning episode. So many Emmys, Jason Sudekis, Brett Goldstein the writer and director all won.
One of my top 3 episodes of the series. So good
Ive been binging your videos since a couple of weeks ago and i will never get enough of Rob and Bryce getting emotional ❤ its so refreshing to see guys having the enough emotional maturity to cry in public. (As my bestie woukd said you guys are book boyfriend material 😉) Watching you three is so much fun.
I know most people hate that song, but when it came out I was so totally in love living in California to a girl that I thought I'd be married to the rest of my life and it was just a perfect song we sang it all day for days and days. And even though we broke up it's still one of my favorite songs. Peace and love!
The title of the episode is in reference to a film called “Four Weddings and a Funeral”.
If you do movies definitely check out Four Weddings and a Funeral !
Jason sudekis earned that Emmy I love those scenes with dr Sharon and you guys reactions are so great I’m so glad you guys are loving the show
Keeley guessed it was Sam because when Rebecca and Sam first sat at the bar at the restaurant (before realizing that Sam was the guy on Bantr) Rebecca had text Keeley that Sam was there. In the scene Rebecca leaned over to Sam and said that Keeley said hi and then she pointed to her phone.
Watching this with these guys is my third timing seeing it and this just clicked lol
@@TheblondeKrista hope you’re enjoying their reactions. 2 of the 3 are clearly affected by the storylines and it gave me hope for the people of their generation
Like the call back to S1 talking bout amount of time getting dressed to Easy Lover. ♥ Sassy dissing Rupert (not Giles)
Great editing in this episode! Such a sweet/sad funeral scene! ♥ how this show can make you laugh & cry (sometimes at the same time)!
Good call that Norah (who wanted to marry Sam) wouldn't be upset. Most reactors (before the reveal) assume she will be. Her NOT being angry is part of this show not reverting to cliches.
I fully relate to Ted here. Holding strong opposing feelings about a parent that took their own life is very real and very hard. I loved my dad with everything, but he had his demons and he also made our life so much more painful than it needed to be. When he died I always wondered if it was because he didn’t love us (which isn’t true at all but that feeling still is there, even 25 years later)
rebecca and ted are so good for each other, they went through similar stuff and its nice to see they get whatever the other is going through. i love their friendship
You guys reacted to Rebecca singing way differently than I expected hahahaha. I know you were anticipating and dreading the embarrasment, specially Rob haha, we know he wants the earth to swallow him whole everytime someone does something cringe-worthy but that scene was so emotional. It may seem like she's just improvising and fluking her way out of a eulogy but then if you hear the actual words of the song, put in that context, it's really heartfelt and sad (don't get distracted by the bubbly music). It's a mix between she's saying those exact words to her father and she means it and on the other hand her father kinda said those words. "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you"! I broke crying at the Ted and Dr. Sharon scene but this moment also brought me to tears... until everyone starts singing and it gets funny and ridiculous in the greates way haha.
This is the episode that was submitted to the Emmy’s that won them all the awards for season 2. Best writing, Jason. Etc
when Ted says because he quit i flodded with tears the first time i saw it bacause when he breaks up with Michelle in season 1 he says:
I swore never to quit at anything in my life.
Sadly not one reaction channel caught that also.
Thanks, Zuff! Thanks, Rob! Thanks, Bryce! 🥅 #ReelTime #MJDelaney #TedLasso
watched so many ppl reacting to this episode and that back and forth scene with rebecca and ted ALWAYS makes me cry
Remember that Rebecca told Keelie that Sam was at the bar that night when she was meeting the person on Bantr for the first time.
This episode won Best Director and Best Actor at the Emmys. Waddingham submitted their episode for Emmy consideration, but lost out to Cheryl Lee Ralph. Also, Goldstein won Best Supporting Actor for the Rainbow episode.
I lost my father to suicide 2 years ago. Every time I see this episode or a reaction it absolutely lays me out
I feel like Keeley knew it was Sam because on the date I’m pretty sure Rebecca texted Keeley about the fact that Sam was there at the restaurant, and then didn’t text her for the rest of the night
This was a great ep.
I felt this scene so much. Dad was so great when I was young. But through a bad divorce with my mum I didn't see him for months and months at a time through my early teens. I really hated him at one point. He committed suicide later on in life. We had our ups and downs but I always worry that I was too hard on him. I hope he knew how much I loved him by the end. Miss him
Boys, this is twice. You guys have missed it on wearing the kits😂😂 beard now the funeral lmao great videos seeing you guys with jerseys sad is hilarious
“TED!”
“You know him by his ass?”
“Uh, huh He’s got a nice one”
😂😂😂😂
Have faith in Jamie. He's growing as a person and he's going to make a few mistakes here and there but he's really becoming a good man. Enjoyed y'alls reactions and commentary as always!
That's bordering on a spoiler. Not the "growing" part. That's self evident. But don't telegraph actions or lack of actions like you do in your first sentence.
18:08 she is Rick rolling alright 😂
This, I did not see coming (Sam and Rebecca) and I think Ted has all that positivity bc h3 is running away from his father’s suicide.
💜💕
Rob, get ready. There is more crying to come.
therapy can be ruff
I'm pretty sure when Rebecca was texting with Keeley before her blind date with Sam, she mentioned that Sam had turned up at the same restaurant, that's how she knew.
Bingo 😊
Laughing during eulogy was super awkward, if I’m being honest.
Every time someone guesses whats exactly going to happen next. You can’t be that lucky all the time.
its not only a meme, its a popular song, by a reputed artist, plz show some respect.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Jamie is toxic. Trade him.
I stopped watching you because I know some of you have already seen it. Let me repeat , the me was f you had seen the show!!!!!!!!’n you have seen it!!!!!!
