What a treat to hear a passionate luthier talk about what they've discovered. I'm a hobbyist, just finishing my 28th ukulele build. Thank you all for the thoughtful content you consistently provide to the ukulele community!
Even though it’s was just Corey playing in the beginning, I feel like I have the satisfaction of listening to an orchestra. That Ono sounds so beautiful! Thanks for also having David speak about the craftsmanship of making his ukuleles :)
These last two customs from David at Ono have tone in a class of their own. I have immense respect for his creativity and passion for constantly striving to make the perfect "to him" ukulele~
thanks for sharing all that info - great to feel at the pulse of "innovation", those Onos, especially the tenors, always sound enchanting... make one dream to have one, or simply dream about anything hearing the sound samples... 🤩
Just Fascinating Andrew, thanks for this insight. Two clearly knowledgeable Luthiers, chatting about ingenuity, physics, craftsmanship and innovation. Beautiful sounding instruments, which to me, have so much clarity across the range. David, thank you for sharing your passion and talent. Have a great week.
A Moore Bettah string set. Chuck Moore no longer sells these but you can buy the same flat wound TI .030" and .027" for the basses with trebles of your choice at about .026" and .020". The TI strings are readily available at The Ukulele Site and other string vendors online.
