Conversion of Density

This video is a short presentation of computing the displacement of a vessel where she floats in a DW density. A formula is applied to obtain the exact displacement through interpolation and the end result will lead to the “draft” of the vessel to which she is floating. It will make it easy for the Chief Mate to compute the effects of density about which she floats with ease. Just follow the procedures as explained in the video. Take advantage of such a program to lessen your workload on board. This is not a shortcut method but rather a mathematical approach for shipboard use.
