One other positive point is that the output is grounded by the deck so you don't have the annoying wire to attach to the back of your mixer. It can also be used as a line output if you've run out of phono connections on your mixer.
Could be the first privately owned STR8-150 M2 review online, and I know from experience you have no issues with those Ortofon Concorde Scratch on a straight tone arm which is another positive point worth mentioning.
I find the straight arm turntable, high torque and needle perfect for scratching. (although I'm still at a beginner stage with it) I had been put off concorde needles before because of the price but actually I think they are well worth it and much easier than fiddling around with headshells a little wires.
