  • The BMW M4 CS is a limited-edition track-oriented car that slots between the M4 Competition and M4 GTS. But what makes it different from a base M4 Coupe?
Under the hood, the M4 CS' 3-liter twin turbo 6-cylinder packs 35 more horsepower and 36 more lb-ft of torque than the M4 Coupe, for a total of 460 and 442 respectively. The M4 CS is only available with a 7-speed DCT, as opposed to the base M4 which also offers a 6-speed manual. In addition to the boost under the hood, the CS also gets an upgraded exhaust system, which adds a nice rumble.
On the exterior, the M4 CS is essentially the same as the base M4, but adds an exposed carbon fiber splitter, side mirrors, roof, spoiler, and rear diffuser. When specced with the contrasting 20-inch forged alloy rims exclusive to the CS, it gives off a much more aggressive vibe than the M4.
On the interior, the M4 CS removes a lot of weight with carbon fiber door inserts and rope door straps. A few CS badges are added, but other than that the interior remains mostly the same.

You need to do a little more research my friend. The M4cs in the video does not have the stock CS exhaust. It has the M-Performance exhaust that can also be installed on the stock M3/4. The M4cs comes OLED tail lights that are exclusice to the CS and GTS, and not the LED lights offered on the standard M4. The 763M wheels are 19" front and 20" rear. BMW was actually able to beat the original 7:38 'ring lap time by 3 seconds, at the press launch at the Nurburgring, the advertised a 7:35 time.

The bmw driver could easily manipulate the track numbers

To add.. The carbon bonnet is not and option on non CS models. It's unique to the CS. And the CS exhaust is tuned by their M division just like the suspension.

I prefer my M4 Competition package convertible with 20 inch wheels for the front and rear. Definitely a nice commuting car

The CS hood is unique to it. Its not an option on the competition and base models.
