Broccoli, Bacon, and Cheese salad:
2 bunches Broccoli
1 lb. Bacon
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1/2 onion
Dressing - mix 2 TBSP wine vinegar, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup mayonnaise
I added dried cranberries, sunflower seeds and/or raisins are also great!
Zucchini Patties:
1 cup grated zucchini (squeeze out excess water)
1 egg
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
onion/salt to taste
Combine and fry 2 minutes/side until golden brown - I used butter and a cast iron skillet.
For the stir fry I used cabbage, red pepper, celery, onion, frozen mixed vegetables, mushrooms, broccoli stems (instead of the snow peas), garlic, ginger, sesame oil and various sauces.
It is so annoying the food waste from stores ...and then they lock it up, so it goes to the landfill!! It's such a shame 😢

I’m curious at what stores do you dumpster dive? All of our stores around here have locks on their dumpster so nobody can get inside of them at all. 3:47 3:53 not to mention our stores actually have cameras in the back, so no one‘s allowed to go around to the dumpsters in the back! Do you take the excess money that you save from your 25 if you don’t all the way to 25 and roll that over to the next week? 5:02 5:05 5:10
I carry over the savings if a month covers 5 shopping weeks, and try to keep to $100 or less a month.

Places like Aldi, dollar stores, etc. I used to get some great stuff at a CVS until that store closed. Lots of places here have also locked their dumpsters or installed security cameras. I'm taking advantage while I still can.
