yeah, that's why Zyra is easy to play but harder to master, having plants hitting only champs can be tedious at times, you have to hit the champion with the same ability that spawns your plant. Took me 2 months figuring that out (I'm stupid)
@@idubbztv223 I literally have 900K mastery point on zyra and talk to the best zyra players in NA, i study the builds for all roles dilligently, and among the pros and high elo players 9% of them go sorcs for a good reason: not throwing your early game Your damage without sorcs is miserable fr. Yes, you get the seeds a tiny bit faster with ionian and its cheaper, but its not worth ruining your lvl 6 all in and decreasing your poke damage by 30% If you dont build this pen early, you wont get to build pen for like 3 or 4 next items, you need sorcs. Especially when games end after 1-2 items I would almost never go ionian, not because its bad, but because its simply not as good as sorcs
The Dark Harvest is inzane on Swain APC. 30 stacks, a W across the map, full AP burst build.. the damage is ridiculous. I haven't lost one game in 10 games using this. The nerf for the scaling base damage doesn't matter at all. You won't get lvl 18 most games so you can't max the scaling anyway. And the stacks is 80% higher now from 5 to 9 per stack. Perfekt with cut down rune too. It's a really good rework.
Honestly, played a lot of zyra in soloq and she feels so good just cause even if you get an inting adc as long as you don't make stupid mistakes you're always going to be annoying. Also, I tend to max q and w for maximum damage and frequency of poke and noticed a significant difference in usefulness when I made the swap from e max. Its very easy to fall into the mind set of "if I max my stun its better cause noting happens if I miss it" that you get with other engage supports. With champs like thresh and blitz it makes sense to max your q/cc because if you miss them nothing happens so you might as well, where as zyra, starting with her q and maxing it along with her w is so good in lane cause you're going to be using that most of the time cause they are (rightfully) too scared to walk close enough for an e, so you can just kinda use it to trap them in a bad situation with not only q damage but 2 or more plants getting free shots on them. Also for anyone who doesn't know, 1 the plants will focus anyone you hit abilities on, or one you aa so you do have some control over it tho if its a max range plant out of q damage range you either have to hope or make them closer than the minions are to the plants.
Also for max effectiveness saving up both your plants is good cause they take no mana or time to cast tho its ideal to wait for a passive plant and wait for them to think they can walk on it for free.
The plants do the same damage regardless of your Q level. If you want long range plant poke you can still use a rank 1 Q. The plant will do the same damage as if you used a rank 4 Q. Range of Q and E is the same as well. So if you can hit a W, you can hit an E as well. Only difference being they can perhaps outrun an E.
Yo Ioki, shouldn't you try to space the seeds so one hits Mao and another one hits Lucian? Maybe it's just me but the second plant seems to deal less damage when it hits a champion who's already been hit.

The passive deals AoE. So I died because I got hit by my AoE and his AoE. If you slow it down you can see there are two separate explosions damaging me.
Dumbest play on a Flash I have had was with Cassiopeia. Enemies are 5 Stacked in a bush and on a ward. We we going down Mid Lane and I Flash Ulted the Bush. My brain registered everything way too late, because just before I Pressed F, they all started to turn away together. I still got one or two of them, but whoever was calling that play knew they were on a ward and knew Cassi really well themselves. Their skill made my flash look like one of the dumbest plays in history.
29:25 yeah as a supp main the amount of times adc will type "gg supp gap" last second just for ME to have more damage then the adc is hilarious (thresh braum main with the occasional pyke or swain)

Vanguard was hardware faulting all my hard drives as they've done on many people's computers. If I was to theory craft, maybe the gold on hit rune of inspire because that will build long term gains, zyra often procs first strike by being far away. I miss moonstone renewer that healed on damage. Zyra maxing w was so broke those days.
Like I say, I can't play lol due to Vanguard killing my hd. I liked old DH on fiddle. It's not a trash rune especially since buff and zrya hitting stuff long range style. Dh sounds reasonable, just on paper those damage numbers always look so small 1/3 an auto attack per minute...

Dark Harvest got reworked to nerf early game + buff lategame. It's better on some champs and worse on other champs.
