Did you ever feel like having a big bite of cake but were incredibly lazy to make one? Well then, this recipe is just perfect for you. Food blogger Tarika Singh teaches you how to make a quick and delectable Oreo mug cake and the best part is, this microwave cake cooks in less than 4 minutes.
Ingredients:
butter - for greasing the mug
150 grams Oreo biscuit
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
Method:
- Grease the cup using salted butter in which you would make the Oreo cake.
- Crush the Oreo cookies roughly using hands into the mixer and blitz it.
- Add a pinch of salt and the baking powder to the crushed Oreo in the mixer. Add the milk and blitz again.
- Pour the crushed Oreo in the greased mug.
- Put the cup in the microwave on a medium high heat for 3.5 minutes.
- The Oreo mug cake is ready. Dust it with little icing sugar and enjoy this quick & delectable cake.

This isn't exactly a flourless mug cake because the Oreo cookies are made of flour, hence the baking powder :). As for the microwave temperature, every microwave is different, so you should definitely experiment to check what setting works in your microwave. A lower temperature just ensures that the cake doesn't get burnt. In a microwave, things can heat up fairly quickly.

Easier way: get some Oreos and milk! Then smash up the Oreos and then you want to add a splash of milk or two, and then put it in the microwave for a minute or 30 seconds, that’s what I think

I just separated its cream and melted it after in a blender i put the oreos,milk sugar cocoa powder coffee and some baking powder and blended it... Its was a thick mixture. After baking its i iced it with that melted cream it was really really yummmmmyyyyyy

I tried it without adding salt and instead of unsalted, I used salted butter for greasing. Then I microwaved at 720W for 2 mins. It's so yummy and spongey! Thanks for the recipe :D

I got fantastic results without the baking soda ! Just milk and Oreos , make sure to microwave it for approx 1:30 if you are not using baking soda
How imake it is i smash the oreo and pour a little bit of milk until in looks good and put in micovaw done
