I've listened to this song probably a dozen times and each time I get chills.

Agree one hundred percent Zachary. Well said.

I was here. Just a few weeks before our world was upside down. I was fearful of losing a job and what the future holds. Then he lays this down....and as Buster Poindexter says to Bill Murray in "Scrooged" ....Niagara Falls. Never too old or too male to cry, let it out ....fellas. Thanks for the post. Keep it up Nathaniel.

Whew. When he brings the heat with that voice...goosebumps! What a beautiful song.

Yessss. Especially the back-up singer. That's the biggest difference from the album version. The grit and presence/equality of both parts of the harmony. And they way they both ride the line of belting/cracking.
      So raw.

@@t.j.wolfgram2760 Mark Shusterman, also the keyboardist and backing vocalist for the Night Sweats. Incredible musician and performer.

    Powerful, powerful song.
Raw emotion, not to be messed with.

I would love to meet this man. His lyrics are so metaphoric yet direct and aimed straight at the heart. Somehow he explains complex emotions so beautifully through both the music and the lyrical content.

Background vocal homie going a little too hard...

It's definitely on the mix where the problem lies. He always goes that hard but his mic is too forward of the mix.

No way. He makes it. Yes it’s overbalanced. It’s “wrong”. But it’s so good.
