Adding Disney Characters to Saving Mr. Banks

- What if we added Disney cartoon characters to Disneyland for the movie Saving Mr. Banks? What if the time accurate (1961) characters "lived there" and were sprinkled about the entire park? It is my hope that they don't distract too much from the scenes but are there as a fun little Easter egg.
So be on the look out for -
Casey Jr.
The Stork
Alice
Dinah
Goofy
Tinkerbell
Lucifer
Fairy God Mother
Lady
Grumpy
Wart (Arthur)
Donald Duck
Duchess
Gus
Thumper
and Snow White's Blue Bird

It has been brought to my attention that I can not tell time and showed Duchess and Arthur who did not appear until after this time period. Therefore, I will go to night school to try and catch up on my education. Also lets all lobby Disney and Spielberg to make a Roger Rabbit 2.
@jamesedits77, hello, can I ask you something?
@@quiggc1 Of course.
@@jamesedits77 can you make a music video of grown woman by Beyoncé?
Arthur isn't really that much of a problem as production on The Sword in the Stone was well underway at the time Saving Mr Banks is set.
Me too.
Now THIS feels like a sequel to Roger Rabbit
Or Chip and Dale
@@maxtopia5733 Yeah, THAT poorly-made dumpster fire……
It's more like a Prequel Version of Roger Rabbit.
@@Sorcerer-SMCI even made a rant review of it. czcams.com/video/lrLAnDxc5cA/video.html
@@dragonstarplanet Not really, Disneyland California opened in 1955 while Who Framed Roger Rabbit took place in 1947.
1:20 Donald Duck marching along right in their path is hilarious
Wait! Tom Hanks played Mr. Disney? I had no idea Saving Mr. Banks featured a Disney park. Shit, dudes. I need to go watch that movie now. You're SO creative. This channel is just pure fun. To see Mr. Disney while visiting the parks must have been such a delight. There he is, Mr. Disney himself.
At this point, Tom Hanks is probably one of the most versatile actors there is. He could play a police officer (Turner & Hooch), voice a cowboy doll (Toy Story), voice multiple characters in one single movie (Polar Express), and play at least two figures who helped shape childhoods (Fred Rogers and Walt Disney)
@@chloecover1276Linda Flynn
Don't call him Mr Disney. He always wanted to be called Walt ;)
Roy Disney: Yeah 👍
Wow! You never stop to amaze me! You have made Who Framed Roger Rabbit 2 come to life! It's great to see you again, James! 😀👍
Thanks!
It feels more like a prequel to Roger Rabbit, because it felt like Disney opened the door to invite cartoon characters to our world.
Roger Rabbit 🐇: Hey 👋
Honestly, you pulled it off quite well. All our favorites are here but they don't distract us! Impressive editing!
Thank you! 😊

Tiana: Wait!
I’m writing this in case this gets marked for kids.
(I’m looking at you COPPA!)
I really love this crossover video! The characters don’t feel too out of place, and are actually apart of the movie. It’s not just this video, I also admire a lot of the other edits you’ve made. They feel like actual crossovers that have a good amount of effort put into them.
Thank you so much for this! So far I've only been successful in reversing their decision with one of my videos. I'm hoping they just leave me alone haha. Love reading the comments from folks like you. It really is the extra motivation I sometimes need.

Minnie: Beautiful 🤩
Now that's a dream factory. Good job.
I like that it’s all the classic Disney characters from the 1930s to 60s. It’s funny that their are people in costumes as Mickey and Goofy yet the real Goofy is at 0:33
The people in those consumes must feel like the most useless people ever, don't they?
Goofy 🤪: Gosh!
Duchess would've not exist in 1961 as her film The Aristocats was released nine years later in 1970. Same for Arthur as his film The Sword in the Stone was released two years later in 1963, unless they both time travelled back to Disneyland 1961. Great video though and seeing the animated characters in Disneyland irl would be incredible.
... Shoot, you're right! How the heck did I miss that? I could have sworn I checked on the film releases. Dang it!
@@jamesedits77 I'd say my explanation for how did Duchess and Arthur get to 1961 Disneyland is that they've requested Merlin to time travel them both back to that time period to meet Walt and P.L. Travers.
Merlin 🧙♀️: Look Out 👀
Now that's Disney legacy.
This was AMAZING, James! I love seeing all the characters [even if they aren't time period accurate like Arthur and Duchess, and to be fair, Tinker Bell showed up at the end of Roger Rabbit despite Peter Pan the film not being made until the 50s], especially the underrated ones like Arthur and Gus! These crossover videos are EPIC, they remind me of Roger Rabbit in a good way! Speaking of crossovers, will you use Taran [The Black Cauldron] in any future crossover, maybe with The Sword In The Stone characters [imagine him in the Madam Mim scene, now that would be funny], or in a mega-crossover like this? I really love how you use even the most obscure Disney characters, since Disney themselves rarely do [except in firework shows].
Thanks for the kind words. I may use Taran in a future crossover. The Black Cauldron never gets the love it deserves.
Taran: Hold On!
This is by far my favorite video that you made so far. Fantastic work, James!
Magic, excitement, fantasy, thrills, adventure, and music. Wow, what a magnificent show I saw.The Disney World and Disneyland have all the characters come from the movies to the real world? Amazing! I love it. Oh, if I was in the magical amusement, I would be happy to meet them all and my hero, Walt Disney (Walter Elias Disney). I am still in love with the Disney things that have magic, fairies, creatures, and talking animals, ones that come from stories such as fairy tales, fables, ancient histories, folklore, mythologies, and legends. I have four favorite Disney movies: Fantasia (1940) along with Fantasia 2000 (1999), Peter Pan (1953), The Little Mermaid (1989), and Beauty and the Beast (1991). I wish I could have met the real Walt Disney if he were still alive. I am his fan. Like him, I never gave up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart because I still refuse to wake up, grow up, and forget about them or anything precious to me, especially those from my childhood. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive for all time. I am like Peter Pan, you know. Hate getting old, which is awfully terrible to be weak and look ugly with saggy skin and a wrinkled face. Bleh! Yuck! I don't buy that and I seriously don't want to be old. I also wish to be a fairy that stays strong, magical, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever like Tinker Bell (Peter Pan), and the blue fairy (Pinocchio). No growing up. Forever young. Believe in magic and never grow up. Relive our childhood and carefree life as before and think happy thoughts to make you fly with faith, trust, and pixie dust.
Clever!
This is so cool, and well edited
The Roger Rabbit sequel we never got to have!
And on a side note: Since the setting is the early 1960s, the one anachronism in this video (shown at 0:21) are the monitors at the entrance. Perhaps that’s why there were extras covering the front? They missed the back.
I don't know how you do it but it's a gift.
Thanks for those kind words!
Dumbo: Delicious 😋
I hope they make a sequel to who Framed Roger Rabbit
Any ideas for some new videos, like Wibur (from the rescuers Down under) flies passed the seagulls from finding nemo in Sydney?
Thats actually a good idea. I'll look into it.

Saving Mr. Banks but Robert Zemeckis took over directing. XD
Are you going to do a part 2 to this video?
Good to see that you’re back. What’s the next video coming up?
I'm working on Up vs Incredible and Belle's Dad vs Headless Horseman.
That’s a great idea James major plot swap and I doing the same as the Beast chasing Ichabod Crane 😅 😁

Good video
Hey that looks like a disney and hey there's tom hank that woody voice
Disney should have made a full movie like this to celebrate 100 years rather than Wish.
What will your next Disney Crossover be?
I remember well how Walt Disney helped the Toon Town Imigrants to get actual jobs after Toontown was buldozed to make that freeway. His contribution to this country shall not be forgotton until they find a new body for that head in a jar they keep in the basement of the castle.
Very similar to the movie chip and dale

Excuse me, hello?
Is Casey Junior from Dumbo (1941) like C. K. Holliday, E. P. Ripley, Fred Gurley, Ernest S. Marsh, or Ward Kimball? What is Lilly Belle like? A yellow coach (carrying the jugglers, clowns and acrobats), a flatcar with a calliope organ and a various circus wagon, another flatcar (carrying two other various circus wagons), an orange stock car (carrying the elephants), a blue stock car (carrying the monkeys, horses, zebras, and camels), another flatcar (carrying the tent and its supports), a light blue stock car (carrying the giraffes [whose heads are clearly sticking through the roof]), one more flatcar (carrying two more wagons), a pink stock car (carrying the hyenas, gorillas, bears, lions, and tigers), a light green stock car (carrying the ostriches, seals, hippos, and kangaroos), a green coach (carrying the circus workmen), a red caboose numbered 2 (carrying the Ringmaster), or a silver coach reserved for Dumbo and Mrs. Jumbo?
Am I the only one who thinks Paul Giamatti looks like Mickey in this movie?
Yo, ho, ho yo yo yo how’s it going? I’m back at it again guess who’s back?
