@@aayushipandey1219 Hey Aayushi, I haven't preferred any company yet. I am always in my own. But, I have several friends who go with India Hikes and if I will ever decide to go with, I would not trust anybody else than India Hikes.
@@aayushipandey1219 Hello this is Karishma. Are you travel in personal bike or with public trasport to reach that particular place before trek.Suggest me Please.
I aslo want to know camping outside alone is safe or not from human n amimals.
Good video. Pretty darn close to my layout. I know a lot of hikers use phone apps for hiking and u had your phone on list. I think map and compass or navigation device should be #1 .
Again good video. Made me sub😎
Sunscreen lotion is must for any trek above 12-14k altitude...even for an easy trek one should keep it handy
If you are a sole wanderer...or in small group...always have a packet camphor, match box and a lighter and swiss knife... always reach the place one evening before you start the trek...learns the details from the local Porters and hire them...
Thanks a lot, going for a trek in some days and these things come in very handy
One of the useful things u have mentioned regarding trekking. But I want to add one thing is adjusting according to the hight. Cause it may cause headaches so drink plenty of water.
Very helpful
Nice vid...I would say, the loo roll needs to be triple-wrapped in waterproof layers😁😉🤣. And always keep hand sanitizer close by - I wouldn't touch food without using sanitizer first😜

What is your opinion about trekking pole
A lot of things have been covered on these videos...some basic stuff is missing so let me cover it for you...while you are travelling to these places you would notice that that the mountains are in V shape....while moving forward you see the it U shape...if you move forward there is no shape at all...let me explain thin V shape resembles River valley...U shape resembles glacier valley... when there isn't any shape then you are travelling on the mountain
Looking forward to my 2nd trek with India Hikes🤘🙏👍
Thanks Di
Can you please give this fleece or jacket link
My camera system consists of one camera, three lenses, some filters, shutter release cables and one tripod any of which I cannot do away with. Any idea of carrying these things easily?

MY FIRST Trek kedarkantha is coming up 1 chocolates 2 water bottals 3 Pawarbenks you're video is very helpful thank you so much
Xabardast video love you from kashmir
What are the kind of pants shown in the video? It seems to be very functional. Sorry if this question seem a little ridiculous
A multipurpose knife perhaps. A pair of shades too.
No powerbank? I also love outdoor towels on my way.
First tip: buy a pant full of pockets 😂
But your video is very useful for trekkers ❤ specially for beginners
Where to get pants like yours..?
A small knife, or a multitool such as a swizz army knife always comes handy.
Can you suggest which swizz army knife is best
Becoz i don't have any idea about it
How about a Lighter... To light a fire? And a knife. Also keep a mini shovel to dig / to bury waste products. Get my drift? Also keep some water purifying pills, or, use filters to procure drinkable water from streams. One more thing might come in handy... Some tapes/ bandages to cover the blisters on your feet. I Don't use woolen gloves, they collect snow flakes and get soppy wet.
Nice
how much does porter charge for hari ki dun treck per day
Thank you Swathi for the tips. Do you think a small note pad and pen would be of some help, just if I want to make some notes on the way

Helo Mam, Warm regards to you and your entire team. I just wanted to know where could I buy the track pants the one are wearing? Thank you in advance ☺️

I've experienced that if you keep a candy in your mouth while trekking you get less thirsty as washrooms are not available in many areas.
Rachana Bhavsar getting caught being dehydrated is not a good thing , better make sure that water is always available when trekking .
A lot of people vomit when they are travelling to higher altitudes...candy helps them to overcome that vomiting sensation...
Devanathan L hello 👋, try to acclimatize to avoid high altitude sickness as feeling nauseous is on of the symptoms .
Nice ma'am
Please share link of pant which you were wearing it will be really helpful

Hi swathi it's very useful..can you also give link of the products that you have purchased ..
Hi, sure we can do that :) But I would like you be a little more specific about the product recommendations you are looking for. It would be great if you can drop me an email on manasa@indiahikes.com so that we can continue the conversation over email.
Hi Swathi,
Do you think that carrying water purifiers would be helpful during treks? My concern is the possibility of catching serious water bourne illnesses while trekking, which would possibly ruin the whole trek experience. While I have only done day treks, I sufficed with carrying 2 ltrs from home. However, I'm quite unfamiliar with camping. Does everyone drink directly from river water or do you all have a purification process?
In the Himalayas, on our high altitude treks, we camp only next to potable water sources. They don't need any purification. But if you're trekking on your own, you could carry a Lifestraw, or perhaps betadine solution. Just two drops of it in your water will purify it.
Forget trekking even if you stay in old Manali near manu temple you drink water directly from taps. It’s that pure !
Hand Sanitizer i think should be handy... as new normal 😀
Thank you Madam. The information about trekking given by you is very useful, it would have been even more useful if you had spoken in Hindi using some English words.
No. 15 Powerbank
Six to eight pocket pant and Also tell about necessary medicine like oxygen etc.

Hello ma'am.... Do you organise hikking tours?
Hi Alok, yes we do. We are India's largest trekking organisation, with over 35 treks that we run across the Himalayas, from Kashmir to Himachal, to Uttarakhand to Sikkim and West Bengal and Nepal.
You'll find all the treks that we organise here - indiahikes.com/upcoming-treks/

I have a question (my first trek - kedarkantha is coming up) I wanted to ask, how to maintain the 'bathing' hygiene? ...wet wipes? Or anything else? Please guide.
I also done kedarkantha trekking with my experience of trek i made a video regarding - 5 Important essentials to carry on a snow trek??
czcams.com/video/NawChdWQRtM/video.html
First there is a list which is provided by your trekking provider- please follow it.
And the other essential i made a video.
Nobody bathes unless you get a hot water source. Quick dry towels soaked in water can help not sure
How do you keep safe your team from the wild animals?
mam, 1 thing to ask: shall i wear crocs on trek, i go to treks sometimes and mostly wear crocs ?
Hi, we do not recommend doing Himalayan treks wearing crocs. If you're trekking with Indiahikes, you can rent shoes on our rental website. Otherwise, check out this article where we have listed down budget shoes that trekkers recommend - indiahikes.com/6-budget-shoes-trekkers-are-using
Paper soap!!! Paper soap!!! Paper soap!!!
I have backpain. I believe rucksacks while trekking are going to worsen it. Do you think I should consider light weight duffle bags instead?
