I have used your other “tripod with short cord” method & like it but I often times have to refer to the video because I don’t practice my knots enough. This looks much easier to remember.

I consider myself a fairly competent outdoorsman, but im always surprised by simple things such as these. Ngl, i find it a little worrisome that i would never, ever come up with things like this on my own. My brain always makes things so much more complicated than what it actually needed. 🙃 in an actual survival situation, i probably die spending valuable time and energy of an aesthetically prefect woven fish basket trap, when a broken soda pop top on a string would undoubtedly have kept me alive 😂😂😂😂😅

This is really easy to set up and remember. When teaching weekend classes I quickly realized most students wont remember complicated knots...Lol
