Made the same mistake about a year ago and bought a 2001 e46 for $1000 because it had a 6 speed, literally didn’t make it 30 miles home. Parted the thing out and made a decent profit
i had a e36 323, speedometer didn't work and car was super hesitant down low. found some broken cables going between back seats and trunk. spliced them back together and then speedometer worked and car felt much smoother with no more hesitation, may be worth a check
You're not wrong I worked at part stores for a long time. I had a buddy go threw several hydraulic parts not work. And my favorite 1 was. This guy had 7 rebuilt alts get bench tested for 1 car before 1 actually worked
God damnit Chris… Its an E36! Rear wheel bearings almost never breaks on these! And with that much play in the wheel, i bet you 100$ that the nut for the axle was loose and that was causing the play. Ive seen it 100 times on these cars! Just tighten the nut and it’ll be good! Damn…

I made wheel bearings several times on e36s but i never needed to take apart the axle. Just take off brakes and unscew the driveshaft. The tool for pressing out the bearings costs about 30 bucks
I was under the impression you have to reverse bleed the e36s. That's what I had to do on my 318 back in the day but I'm not sure if it's the same with 325s

The bleeding is a pain. On the e60s the resivoir is so small you can only really pump the pedal 15-20 times before you gotta refill it. Gonna assume its the same way with the m3.
