Nikon Z7 Wildlife Footage

Sample footage from the Nikon Z7, filmed with a custom picture profile. The shooting conditions were in the very harsh midday sunlight, but the custom curve helped retain the maximum possible dynamic range. It was very easy to grade later.
Those who don't use external recorders could switch to flatter custom profiles in the absence of a log profile.

Nice job! Where was the video taken looks like a nice trip. Also in this type a super strong lighting I often use an ND filter with a built in polarizer it really helps. I use the Polarpro Quartzline "ND8/PL. This has 3 stops of ND and has an adjustable polarizer built in. I have found the Polarpro filters also have no color cast. Thanks for sharing.

This was shot at Masai Mara, Kenya. And I couldn't use ND filters as this shot with mirrorless camera on a Nikon 600mm lens. I don't have a suitable ND for it. But yeah, having a ND filter in these situations is a boon.
