I met Jayden at my first ever Caravan last fall in Puhrump. We camped close, broke bread together, he shared his cooking with me and I was eavesdropping in his music , he used headphones when on keyboards and had I known he is that talented I would have requested he nor and share it with me. I know right off he is intelligent, compassionate, has a great ...Compass . I doubt he remembers me but I gifted him a luci lite ( with prayers and hopes the Universe offers him an abundance of choices and opportunities...I think of him often and how his Journey is progressing. I plan on at least see some of Sedona town itself and will listen for his magic...
It's pleases me much to see how well Payden is doing!
I've learned that Solitude allows my skin to fit right. I've become comfortable with myself. I am my best company...and Friend.

Hello Bob, this young person could have been just another cog in someones machine, but instead he struck out on his own and has done well despite the obstetrical put in the path of all Nomads. What I love about Bob's interviews is that the interviews are about the people, their lives, motivations, why they are nomadic. They NOT about monotonous: "my under is in this drawer, my socks are in this plastic cabinet ..."

Good for him!!! Travel, travel, travel when you are young. That's what I did, despite so many, most all, people telling me to settle down and have babies. I am so glad I did. Now I am 61. I still love to travel, but obviously don't have the same stamina as a young person. Best of everything to this young person.

You shouldn't judge a person from how they may look. Amazingly talented and gifted person, well rounded and focused. Thanks for sharing your life and thanks for sharing hos video.
To increase the outside living area, consider using inexpensive tarps to make an add-a-room type tent.
These usually start with an awning with two side walls and a front, all made from fabric like the awning itself.
Google will have gazillions of images of these, and there's probably videos and blogs on how to make them cheaply using tarps.
That will allow the full music and cooking set up outside of the van, to still be usable and dry in torrential rain.
One aspect about spending time on one's own is that it allows you to get to learn more about yourself.
Once comfortable and at ease in oneself, spending time alone ceases to be something associated with loneliness!
Its simply a nice time in one's own company!
To have taken charge of his life and to live as he pleases is giving him a really nice life, and what could be nicer than that.
This very together man will inspire others to consider the versatility and reliability of a (japanese) mini van and to just travel as they choose without wasting money fitting their van out.
Love this young man, I can see him making music around the world and being more successful than he could have ever dreamed.

Great attitude Jayden. In my younger years I had some very hard times when I didn't know where I'd sleep or if I could afford to eat. Fortunately for me it was only a couple of years and it left me with a lot of inner strength and belief in myself that I wouldn't have otherwise. You r strength and fortitude will see you through.

I was in a Honda Odyssey for 6 months and my worst experience was also 3 days of rain. My new vehicle is a ram conversion van and I can stand.
Great Interview Bob and CRVL Crew. Jayden's a fascinating, creative, intelligent and talented guy. I could listen to him play music all day. I'm impressed with the water system that he's created himself and his gym. He's proof that you don't have to abandon the things you enjoy doing the most just to be a Nomad. Jayden's AWESOME! Jaden, you are so smart for prioritizing travel. No one tells you that you really do start to feel your age at about 40. If I had my 20s and 30s to do over, I would not prioritize working and would do exactly what you are while you have potentially fewer health or mobility issues to consider. You are a brilliant inspiration with a creative rig. Enjoy the world out there!
