    I've lived in Mooresville for 20 years. It was a quaint little town when we moved here. Now they build and build but don't widen the roads. It is overcrowded and traffic is horrible!

      @LivingInCharlotteTeam  Před 6 měsíci

      It’s grown for sure! The people moving from New York still think the traffic is pretty light comparatively. 😂 I know there’s quite a few new road plans in the works to help with that in Mooresville however!

    If the traffic's bad, it's gonna be an hour 30. Took me 20 minutes to go through 5 stop lights.

      Depends on where in Mooresville you are. There’s definitely some terribly congested areas, but there can be easy commutes into the city if you have direct toll access nearby.

    The biggest problem here is, it’s being overbuilt. They’re building so many homes,apartments, townhomes and what have you and they don’t do a thing to improve the roads. It’s getting crazy out there.
    The town needs to rethink the standards of home many homes can be built on a piece of land. Ways too many, that’s the norm now.
    Overall it’s nice living here, BUT, they need to pull the plug on new construction. If they don’t, I’ll be looking to move out of here.

    For all of the comments I was born and raised in Mooresville most people that live there now are from up north and they have brought there nasty ass attitudes with them thinking people that lived in this town are stupid I hate going to mooresville anymore because of that but I always open carry and Yankees think that’s so terrible and you can carry cash because nobody that is really from here is not going to bother you unless it’s a transplant that might try there luck but if you are a Yankee liberal you might fit in ok and if you want to know the town you are moving to go to the library and read 2 books on the history of Mooresville and don’t act like an ass because people still speak to everyone and are friendly if they grew up here good luck and in your next video about Mooresville give a little history for people that are coming to visit or live

    Personally, I very, very rarely go to Mooresville. To me, it's a mini Charlotte. I hate Charlotte. They both have way too many people. I prefer to go to Hickory over Mooresville whenever possible.

      I agree. Troutman is a wreck. Rezoning residential to commercial. tiny roads with oversized loads of bulldozers halfway in my lane before day break. Crazy, the people are losing everything and corporations will own everything soon. Billion dollar rental companies will buy up all these ugly houses stacked on top of each other once the first owner is ready to sell. People being leveraged out of the dream of own land. These neighborhoods are the modern day apartment. It's not a free market when these clowns can pay 10x the value of a farmers land to rip it up to pack 350-500 houses. Then buy the land down the road for the group investor groups. Watch out fam, we are getting another dollar general in Troutman, OHH and another dunkin donuts. They made it so great for us all, they are on the same road several miles apart. in case you missed the first pull in now. Oh what's that, you still didn't see one? Let me build an exit after some petitions and community meetings to let people complain. But ol buddy isn't turning down that pocket change, it's tax free for doing earnest work as a politician Sir. That's right Sir, even though your salary is only 95k, your net worth will be 8 million 😂😂😂 Generational southerns have survived by passing down and inheriting small pieces of family land. Then they put up a trailer and boom! They live their life style without much interference from the gov. Not saying this is thriving at all, no they are surviving and forgotten. This is an in-balance in what that term "growth" means. You're relating this growth to positive and opportunity. No this growth is a takeover, and we all let it happen because its SO convenient for us to have 2 dunkin donuts on the same road. This is going to promote so much community right? Stop relying on other people to be entertained. We dont need 60 breweries to choose from, maybe reducing the number will promote repeated visits, familiar faces, the guy who never wears a shirt we all know the story of why. This soul is being ripped out of America and we are being given only several choices with everything. It's a sales tactic that must be adhered to. If im trying to sell you something, Im not giving out a bunch of options. You get confused, you need to think, what if that one is better and Brian gets that one. No build value in one option, it will feel like two options but thats the art. both choices offered, have an end result I desire. The government is lining up options that feel good, like that 400k house that has exterior photos framed low, shooting high. It feels large right? Assure yourself that top dollar price has everything that it's made of is off the bottom shelf. You and your neighbors will experience similar breaks, repairs, replacements that start happening at the same time if the sticks they glued together were the same year. The media puts our noses in federal government problems we really cant control. We end up ignoring local politics or even how to move with it and someone who is afforded knowledge to leverage the people, they will find their soft spot.
