- This is a genuine customer review about Karcher K2 & Demo on how to use it. Also sharing views on Karcher K3, K4 if they are worth buying for domestic use.
The K2 is more then enough. We did our garden and the patio looks brand new and it hasn't been cleaned for 14 years from new. Not only that the K2 is compact and easier to move around.

Thanks so much. Visited a couple of sites, including official Karcher, and they were nowhere near as good as yours. In fact, although others claimed to be K2 assembly demo, they had parts I didn't even recognise!! Was able to assemble and use with ease after watching your video.

I bought couple weeks ago in Australia as I live there and with the patio cleaner I found the best thing to do is just slightly lift of the ground and wave it around and you will get a better clean of the ground instead of dragging it although it will work, any smell would prob be cause it’s new

I just used it for 3 hours straight to do a patio, work van and the car. Can't say I smelled burning but with the 4 years breakdown cover with Argos I'm sure to make sure I get my use out of it

Me & also some of my friends who borrowed it from me have used this machine. overall in the last 1 year we would have used it for 25 to 30 running hours. Till now the machine is pitch perfect & I do not see anything wrong with it at all. The external hardware & plastic of it is pretty strong & sturdy. I don't think one can brake it unless there is a deliberate attempt. About the motor, mine is working all fine & never had an issue. But may be some people like you said might have burned the motor, could just be unlucky or bought that odd defective piece unfortunately. I would 100% recommend it, I see no flaws & 100% happy till date (Feb 2021). If its gonna be for just personal use once in a while, I recommend K2 (It is relatively cheaper & does the job perfectly). Hope this helps!

The K3 up are water cooled and the motor is supposed to last longer because of this.

I would like to have been shown how that orange extension is used and the price as well as the brand and where to get it. Other than that, I thank you for taking the time to make this review as I am looking for a pressure washer and having a hard time making a decision as to which one to purchase with all of the made in china plastic parts
Trust me on this, I have been using it for the past 3 years & this machine never disappointed me. Don't waste you money on more expensive models, unless you are going to use them for commercial purposes. This machine is very good for domestic use.

Just spend a little bit more and get the k3 it's much better, it has a 6 metre hose instead of 4 and a reservoir compartment for detergent.
The detergent compartment, I surely agree with you.
For the hose, you don't really need a 6 Metre Hose as long as you have an extension cable. There is no other real difference that I see IMO. It has been 3 years I think, since I bought this & till date, I haven't regretted it.

I bought K2 January 2023 in Australia it had a 6 metre hose and it had a detergent reservoir plus a patio deck cleaner . Did the cleaning perfectly

Hi, thank you for your feedback. If you are going to use it just for your house (Not for like cleaning business) & not more than 4 to 5 times a year (for Garden) then K2 is more than enough I would say. Even if it is a large garden. If you are in doubt just give a 2 min gap after doing 50% of the garden, but that too is not needed in reality. Our garden is quite a good size & I have been using it for the last 4 years or so. Its still going very well.

Thanks for the video! Would this be ok for ceramic tiles as well? Ours are outside and they are quite bright so dirt shows often. Now i even have a slight discoloration at some areas after being away for 3 weeks (and in the meantime it was raining often)
Hi, Yes you can use it on Ceramic Tiles as well, I have seen people using it. Ceramics shouldn't have discolouration with sun light, its strange.

Good Information Ashwin. But the tile cleaner isn't available in India. Can we use the tile cleaner mechanism for marble laid in interiors? Tile cleaners needs to be purchased additionally. Surely will give a try.
Hi Vamshi, thank you for your feedback. Technically speaking, the tile cleaner can be used indoors as well. But I wouldn't recommend that as the water pressure will be very high & it will surely hit the ground & deflect on to the furniture around. However, if you are talking about an empty property (with no furniture) then yes, it can be used.
Good video Ashwin. I am planning on buying K2. Have you used or can it be used on a decking without damaging the wood? My purpose would be to clean the decking, patio and paving.

@@komalireddy662 Thank you! Please remember to reduce the pressure while using on wood. Noting would happen even with highest pressure. But it also depends on how old & frail the wood is. Try with the recommended wood pressure first & then see how it cleans :)

Karcher is a global company & is available in most of Europe & USA as well. Not sure if the product is available in India. But I would assume it will be available. Easy way to check it would be the online stores. The price for this product in UK is £105 (US$130 Approx).

Is the circular patio clean attachment actually any good? Or is it ok just to blast with the gun
Hi, yes the circular attachment is actually brilliant. It makes cleaning the patio/ tiles so much more easier as you can see in the video. Without it you can do it with the main pressure gun as well, but you might probably need 3 to 4 times more time & very laborious. Also the circular head restricts the muddy water from flying to all directions. I would 100% recommend that without a doubt.

I am confused about the water supply. Is your hose pipe connected to an outside tap? I did not see you connect the pipe to anything.
Hi, Yes the hose pipe is connected to a Tap which is the source of water. The pressure from the machine is not dependant on the tap pressure, the machine creates water pressure. It is irrespective of tap pressure.

Im not sure about that sorry, however, I can tell you with confidence that I have been cleaning with this/ using this for the past 3 years & I have never regretted it.
The tile cleaning attachment locks like it will get worn down because it grinds against the concrete.
Hi, actually you don't even have to touch the tile cleaner attachment to the ground, it is not a scrubber. I have touched it to the ground to avid my shoes getting wet. The main cleaning happens through the rotating pressure nozzles inside. So it won't get worn & also it looks like it is made of quite a hard industrial grade plastic.

I bought mine in Mauritius yesterday after watching your video ... very good demo and advice... but I didn't get the accessories " the tiles cleaner and no hard option for gun"
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I have seen in some places in the past where the price of the purchase is lower but at the same time it doesn't come with the Floor Cleaner accessory. But the Pressure adjusting Gun is compulsory. Im surprised, you don't have it in your purchase. Because along with the Hand held pressure gun, you need some accessory to fit into it, to use. If you have received it, notice at the head part, you will have 3 options to twist & adjust the pressure levels. Hope this is helpful. Yes, the pressure of water coming into the machine will not make any difference. As long as you can fit a garden hose to your rain Barrel, you are good to go.

Is it ok to use it on a car?
Hi, it is very much OK to use it on a car. You have to select the pressure that is correct for car wash. There are 3 pressure settings & one of them will have a car symbol on it. You have to set it to that, to avoid any damage.

It stops soon as i connect the water. Whyy
Hi, you have to connect the water hose & turn the tap on before you start the motor. Once you start the motor it starts & stops in 2 seconds, which means it is ready & the water has entered the internal pipes as well till the gun trigger. Now when you press the trigger on hand gun, the machine will automatically turn on & start sending the water out in high pressure.

Hi, no you cannot, unless you add a step-up transformer to your car 12V port. Nowadays you get these 12V to 230V transformers for £12 to £15 & this helps you use your 12V port as regular plug socket to connect laptops etc as well.

Is k3 enough to remove grease or unclog pipes?
Hi, Im sure it would do a good job with Grease especially if you use soap or the right cleaning product along with water. Im not so sure about unclogging pipes as it depends on many factors like the diameter of the pipe etc. If it is a thin pipe & if you can shoot the pressure directly to the point pf clog then it might do, however if the clog is somewhere deep & you are only filling it up with the pressure washer then it might not.
