  • You can get ultra-redundant if desired by tying the orange tail of the Long-Tail Bowline to the litter after the knot as a backup, but not critical in this case as there is no one singular connection of the litter into the system. If properly secured into the litter, the patient needs no additional backup connections.
Correction: I said that there would be two rescuers on each side, but I meant to say "one per side".

Bob how is the foot rescuer attached to the litter? Directly to waist attachment? Love how we are finally getting away from the side rescuers not being attached directly to the litter!

In this video, we kept the foot part of our old 4-pt bridle intact… a pair of Sterling 7mm Purcells joined into a tri-link, then size it up so that the tri-link is as close to the litter rail as possible to reduce the profile/real estate. The foot rescuer just clips into the tri-link w/ a biner at the waist

Great video! What is the device you are using for the head portion of the bridle? Love the video!

From litter attachment on each side to the MAP it starts with a Micro Swivel to an SM'D carabiner into the cam of a Connect Adjust, then a pair of Ring Opens for doubled strength & alignment at the MAP.
