Hirax - Criminal Punishment - Guitar Cover

To celebrate the start of Black History Month, I wanted to pay homage to the underrated thrash legends Hirax. So here's my cover of "Criminal Punishment," the closing track from the second full length album from the classic thrash metal band #hirax, 'Hate, Fear and Power,' released through Metal Blade Records in 1986. I learned it by ear and played it in one take. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching! A lot of classic tracks from bands like Hirax and other pioneering thrash bands are known for that style. Simple and fast. Sometimes I assume they wrote riffs like that because they were just starting and didn’t know or care to do anything else.
