They did a LOT with what they had though. It's just that neither the MCU side of Marvel *coughfeigecough* nor many many of the movie only fans ever recognized that. So what you mean to say is this show did deserve more recognition within the mcu and from people in general.

I wish and I had hope and was a die-hard Agents of Shield fan until I realized it can't be cannon. Too many important events like SHIELD coming back in the show plus many others that were ignored in the movies. SHIELD coming back would be a big deal. It just wasn't possible long-term to keep the continuity going. In the beginning it was working out fine as events happened during Thor the Dark World, The Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron. After that, it got all messy and confusing.
I would love that in any MCU upcoming movie Nick fury appears while the villains sneer because they think he's alone only for him to respond that he's not and Quake and May appear as this music plays in the background and they all kick some serious @ss.!
For all of us who have seen the show, we can all agree on one thing. Most shows go up and down in moments, MAOS swerved to the right and left each episode.
Agent Coulson is a damn legend. By far the best character of this show, I don’t know what it is about him, but he just really makes everything come together
I am a huge fan of this show. I love all of these characters. I think Phil Coulson is quite attractive, he's my favorite. I love the way he thinks. With FitzSimmons second. I love the relationship they share, besides them both being rocket scientists(meaning they're both so smart) Daisy/Skye is beautiful and has such a good soul. Imagine having her powers? Mae.. as stern as she seems, most of the time lol, she is a true warrior that does have heart under her hard exterior. Mac, big athletic guy with just as big of a heart. Like Daisy said in an episode "he is their moral center." Lincoln was a true hero, altho' PC thought he was a lose hair-so to speak. But he did save the world - only to sacrifice his own. Hunter and Barbra were great together.. Barbra could fight now and she stole my body, which I would like back Barbra!! lol. ;) I always felt that Hunter was underestimated somewhat. And I admit I loved his accent. Grant Ward... what can be said about this gorgeous bad seed. I liked him when he rebelled against Hydra when they were in the framework caused by Aida -Bad robot!. If only she hadn't read that book "The Darkhold" she may have turned out good for the good guys. I hope Jemma finds Fitz in S6 and I hope somehow PC comes back. He has to.. he's SHIELDS front line commander of defense. I can't wait for season 6. Told ya I was a huge fan. :)

His whole story line was so tragic. You could tell there was this part of him that so wanted to be good, but stupid Garrett corrupted him at such a young age. But those conflicting aspects of his personality are what make him such a great character and villain. But I cried so much when Skye/Daisy first found out and just cried in the bathroom. And I had goosebumps when Fitz first saw the "Ward is Hydra" message. Ugh such a good show.
He was such a great character, but to be fair we was even better after coming out of the shadows. The whole character arch was actually amazing - they did such a great job over the first 3 season with the character - I was so happy they got Brett back for Season 5.

I am so damn sad this show was cancelled. It was the only show I ever truly binged. I sat in my chair for a whole 2 weeks, non-stop Agents of Shield from season 1 to season 5, it was all I thought about or watched for those 2 weeks. God I loved season 5, the dystopian nature of it was so damn cool.
I would not call it cancelled. a show has to end at some time and you can really see that they had to pull weird plots out of their fingers in the later seasons.

The producers said Ward was intended to be a traitor from the very beginning .

é possível que eles que todos os personagens voltem... mas não como os mesmos personagens mas sim adaptações mas com os mesmos atores mas acho que seria um disperdicio pois na série temos personagens muito bem desenvolvidos e interessantes e isso seria jogar tudo fora... mas ainda sim mesmo que seja uma adaptação dos personagens... gostaria muito da volta de Daisy Johnson unterpretada pela chloe bennet
E outros personagens... e seria uma pena o agente coulson está de fato morto pois ele apareceu tão pouco nos filmes e se mostrou um personagem tão interessante... e isso inviabilizarua os acontecimentos da serié no mcu... mas os personagens ainda acredito que todos existem mas apenas não deram as caras ainda. Bem vomos aguardar...

I am so damn sad this show was cancelled. It was the only show I ever truly binged. I sat in my chair for a whole 2 weeks, non-stop Agents of Shield from season 1 to season 5, it was all I thought about or watched for those 2 weeks. God I loved season 5, the dystopian nature of it was so damn cool.
I would not call it cancelled. a show has to end at some time and you can really see that they had to pull weird plots out of their fingers in the later seasons.
I miss this show.
